Good Deal for Graduation Weekend

My stay at the Ramada Harrisonburg was fairly decent. I spent a minimal amount of time checking in as my keys were waiting for me and all was ready to go. The location was perfect just off of the Interstate 81 exit. It has an older look from the outside of the rooms, but the room was updated as far as furniture and electronics. The bed was not very comfortable and was squeaky. The shower had excellent water pressure and provided an invigorating shower. Free Wi-Fi was also nice as well as the cable. It was graduation weekend at JMU so the price was a steal. It did have a smell like it was an older location unlike newer places.

Average

The overall stay was good. Staying on the first floor by the lobby I was wondering how noisy it would be but to be honest we heard not a thing. The employees were great except for one that gave me very mean looks and was quite rude.

It is not a hotel, but a motel!

The cardkey for the room did not work, and I was told that the reason was that the temperature was too low. It took abot several minutes to open the door with the cardkey. It is not a hotel, but a motel!

Not Bad

The hotel wasn't bad, it wasn't anything great. But it was clean and close enough to JMU.

Business trip

Hotel location was good but overall cleanliness was poor. Bed sheets had a bad smell for the first day until they were replaced. carpet isdirty. Rest room was in good condition. Staff response was good. I would suggest altering the b.fat menu (esp. vegetarian).

I would not reccomend this hotel!

The Hotel is old and in need of renovations. The room was clean, but showing it's age. The front desk was very rude both at check in and check out. Very uphappy with the front desk staff. They need a lesson in customer service. Hotel increase the room rate for an event at the near by campus of JMU. Bad practice if they want customers to return.
