Family Friendly
My stay at this hotel was great. Staff was friendly and the location was great! 10 minutes away from Hampton University. Close to Target, Burlington, and eateries within walking distance. However I did experience two issues during my stay. First room the bathroom drain was clogged, so each time we showered the tub filled with water so we had to cut our showers short. In the second room, the lights near and in the bathroom did not work. Therefore, my family had to go to the bathroom in the dark. Otherwise everything else was great!

Sauns Stay
The staff at Springhill are the most lovely people you can meet. There were smiles and greetings throughout our visit. The only compliant we had was for the price we paid/the room being a suite- we werent happy with the following: paint or nail polish spillings on the carpet/ another dark spot on carpeting and finally the livingroom needed to be vacuumed, but I have to give props to management, they did discount our stay.

Clean but noisy
Hotel was very clean as was the room. There was a Corvette convention/party going on the night we had to stay there. Party lasted until 12:30am and we could hear everything even though we were on the 3rd floor. Room was noisy in general. Didn't get much sleep, but didn't come home with bedbugs either.

Good deal, good hotel, good price...
Went with my wife to attend a Society for Creative Anachronism event. The hotel was very close to the event site, very clean, and reasonably priced. My wife and I both LOVED the fact that it was COMPLETELY NO SMOKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We both have allergies and smoking triggers my migraines. So this hotel was great!!!!! It was also conviently located for a variety of resturants.

Dog Fanatics
One night stay for convenience...
We were visiting Hampton to attend the Dog Show near the Coliseum complex. It was extremely convenient, only a few minutes from the hotel. The hotel isn't easy to locate, it is behind the Hilton. It's easy to drive right by without noticing it. It's a nice place to stay, the room could have been a bit cleaner to my liking. There was something on the floor next to the bed that should have been vacuumed up and the ice bucket had mold growing in it. Other than that, we had a pleasant stay.

We ate at Joe's Crab Shack which is across the street. I wouldn't recommend it, there was nothing special about the food.

Springhill Suites Hampton, VA
The staff was friendly and helpful. the place is immaculate and well appointed for the price. I was thinking of staying an extra day just to have the solitude and peaceful rest I got while there. I will definitely stay there again!!!!!!!!!!
