Pleasantly surprised
This was a great experience. The manager was on duty when we checked in the night before Thanksgiving and he was very courteous and helpful. The room was very clean and the breakfast was very good. No complaints, we will stay there on our next trip to Hampton.

One Night Stay good location good value
Visited Busch Gardens and Relatives in Norfolk and found this to be a great midpoint between both. Researched all the area hotels and this had a very high cust sat status. Only complaint is that the the doors on each room auto close and slam shut. This echos down the corresponding hall and wall. Found that in the morning attempting to sleep late impossible with people checking out and doors closing like explosions, Hotel should consider disabling these closers. Hotel was clean and in a very nice area.

GREAT EXPERIENCE AT THIS HOTEL!
Hotel was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. Staff was extremely helpful and accommodating! We were very impressed. They helped with many "little details" while we were there for a family wedding. Thanks. We will be back again!!!!

Great Bargain
This was a great spot for a weekend getaway. Perfect location a few blocks from Coliseum area and around the corner from Magruder entrance to I-64, far enough off the main road to be quiet at night. Full breakfast included in price: fresh waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage along with continental choices. Friendly, courteous staff. Very clean and nice contemporary furnishings. Tiny indoor pool and good-sized jacuzzi in one room, a little fitness center in another room. Not too crowded or noisy till Sunday morning - seemed like a few reunions were meeting up for breakfast.

The Pub in Coliseum is our favorite! Casual atmosphere, great beer list, classic pub fare (fish and chips, shepherd's pie).

BEREAVEMENT
I was in VA due to the loss of my mom so to not have any negative issues was an added bonus. The staff was awesome and it was a peaceful ATMOSPHERE (which was especially welcomed). Thank you

the staff was very friendly and helpful, rooms clean and comfortable. Unfortunately we had to leave very early on our departure day so we didn't get a chance to thank them

A home away from home
I was in town for business in the Hampton area. The location is close, yet removed from the heavier traffic of the area. The hotel is clean, quiet. My only complaint is that they didn't offer any bran cereals for breakfast!
