Beautiful Rms; Crummy Restaurant and Bar

The rooms were beautiful and I guess in the scheme of things if all you need is a place to sleep, you will be overjoyed with the clean well taken care rooms. My room was one of the nicest rooms I have stayed in. BUT as a business traveler staying in a hotel as remote as this one (you had to drive several miles to the nearest food) you expect the restaurant and bar to be top notch and they were not! My co-travelers and I spent 30 minutes flagging down a waiter to get our check after we had been at the bar restaurant over 2 hours. We ate at the bar restaurant because the restaurant was a buffet. Classy hotel and the bar had no blender and they couldn't make a decent drink. I guess it is a matter of expectations. I expected more!

Really nice hotel

The golf course and grounds are absolutely beautiful. The room size is very comfortable with nice bedding and bathroom. The short distance to travel to Kings Dominion makes this a great place to stay each time we visit. Oh and the food in the Restaurant was delicious! Great breakfast buffet!

Wyndham Virginia Crossings

We were assigned a handicap room of which we did not request. They did offer to change the room but that would mean another trip up to the office (change buildings) and then on to the next room – so we just kept the room. The phone had a message light (red) blinking all night. There were no messages on the room when I called –but the light still flashed. They did offer to have someone come and look at it –and again we declined due to privacy needs. Overall a nice room but I do not think I would stay there again for these reasons.

Gorgeous Deal of the Century

I was in Ashland, Virginia for a conference and chose this hotel (indeed, resort)[...]. What I found when I arrived were gorgeous, manicured lawns, a golf course, flowers everywhere and luxe buildings with names like "Jefferson" and "Munroe" and clean, beautiful rooms, full of amenities, at a fraction of the price I would pay elsewhere.

Nice respite from I-95

Nice change from I-95 traveling from Wilmington to D.C. Beautiful and expansive buildings and grounds. Great view. Peaceful. Convenient to I-295. Dining room not open every night. Pub food adequate.

Wyndham Glen Allen

The room was great and seemed very clean when we arrived. My only complaint was housekeeping while there. I left a used wash clothe on the shower curtain rod and was suprised to find it still there after our room was cleaned and replenished. Also found other stuff not picked up by housekeeping. Overall - our experience was pretty good and we would stay there again.

Wyndham Richmond!

For the price, the Wyndham just north of Richmond, VA was unbeatable. Everyone was friendly, the room and bathroom were spotless and we didn't hear a peep from anyone or anything outside in the two nights there. I'd definitely stay there again.
