Homestead Richmond-Innsbrook

I'm a single woman and they put me on the backside of the far building. They gave me a room on the second floor with a broken security lock and I then requested a room with a working security lock; they gave me a room on the ground floor. The room was not clean. The tub was dirty and had a moldy shower curtain. There was no fan in the bathroom and the bathroom and kitchen floors were sticky. The microwave and refrigerator needed a good cleaning. The bed had cheap itchy sheets and creepy pillows. You could hear people upstairs and the last night I was there it was really loud. That morning when I went to my rental car and there was a burnt down cigarette butt on the hood of the car. The front desk said, sorry about that. I was happy not to spend another night there.

The front desk clerk was great. The hotel is just very average. Thats seems to be what I always get on [...] bookings.

Showed up early but they got me checked in anyways. Nice clean rooms in better shape than a lot of the other long term stay places.

Room was clean, but missing cooking items. The bathroom faucet leaked all night. I told the staff member at the desk when I checked out, she said Ok I'll tell someone to fix it. She did not ask someone how I could be compensated for my unrest.

This place was okay, but it is a little hard to find. The room, while not dirty, didn't feel and look as clean as it could have. I guess what I am trying to say is it's about time for renovations here. For me the location was great, otherwise I would plan to stay elsewhere. So, unless you just need to stay here to be close to something, I'd pay a little more somewhere else.

In town to visit our grandchildre. Liked the room and the location. Did not like the fact that there were no dishes or other kitchen accessories to use. Would consider staying there again.

The hotel was convenient to where I needed to be. It is hard to find tho. GPS can't find it cuz it isn't on Broad St. which is the address, the entrance is on Cox St.. It is just beyond the CVS which is on Broad St. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is not fancy, but it is adequate and clean. There is a kitchenette which is nice.

i thought the trip and the stay was alright.the hotel was very hard to find.it was behind a cvs pharmacy and the signs were very small,in fact i was across the street and had to call the hotel staff to find out to get into it.there were other people that stayed there and had partied and got sick all over the steps and they didn't clean up until late the next morning.

While the Homestead Suites does have a kitchenette to make your stay more comfortable, this one needs to be remodeled. It is very outdated. Some new rugs and redo the bathrooms would be a great start! Then it would be a good place to stay. The location is ideal which was our main reason for choosing it, as well as the privacy of the rooms.

The room was very large, well laid out and comfortable but the sheet did not fit the bed and kept popping off during the night and the bathroom had not been cleaned at all. Otherwise it is a good location and good value.
