Perfect Weekend get away

I needed a hotel to stay in so I can take the GRE test and HGI is absolutely perfect. When we first came in the staff greeted us with a smile and was absolutely friendly. After taking the long 4 hour test I just wanted to curl up in bed and rest, and that was what they had. The beds were so soft.

Always a wonderful stay!

We have always enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is always clean and the staff is very polite and accomadating. We have a convention each July in downtown. This year we decided to go a day earlier than usual. The hotel and it's location made the decision easy. Look forward to going back next year. My family has already mentioned adding another day to our trip.

The dining and shopping was very accessible as the area out in Glen Allen is being built up. Each year we visit there seems to be a new shopping center out on West Broad.

They didn't bother to hold our room

The hotel did not save us a room. The front desk clerk said, "We give third party reservations the lowest priority." I reserved & paid for this room over a month in advance. I called earlier in the day, but when we showed up, all of their whirlpool, nonsmoking rooms were checked out to other guests. The man behind the desk didn't seem to care.

The TV picture was very poor. A few channels were OK, but the major outlets like CBS were virtually unwatchable. Also their was no channel guide in the room and no phone book. I have stayed in this hotel before and it was excellent.

Great Hotel

Greeted by a friendly desk person, room was in great condition and very clean and comfortable. I ate at the restaurant, service and food were great. Will stay again!

Great weekend stay

Came up for a shopping trip to Short Pump Towne Center...location was great, just down the road from the shopping center. Staff was friendly and the room was neat and clean.

Great Location Good Price

we picked this location for a 2 day tour of the city.The area had many attractions close by as well as shopping and resturants.Interestate connections right their.Trip was a sucess. The one thing wrong was the furniture in the room was very unconfortable.The chair and sofa were as hard as a rock.Management has not set in this furniture.
