Great location

Loved the location of this hotel. Very close to Short Pump shopping Center and other neat stores. The staff was very friendly. They gave us several DVD's to check out and also provided free popcorn and microwave in the room. Even though this was a busines trip, it was like a mini-vacation. Will definitely stay again when I'm in the area.

Great for extended stays

The Candlewood Suites Richmond West was very comfortable. The room was clean and had plenty of room. Since they cater to extended stays, the room had a kitchen area. This area was clean and had any cooking utensil you would need. The room also had a nice desk, queen size bed, and a recliner. The room also had a real closet with plenty of space. The bathroom was good sized. All of these amenities would make the room very comfortable for an extended stay. However, since I was there for a weekend trip, there were things missing, such as room and maid service.

Shopping tip: Short walk from hotel

The hotel is very close to shopping. A short walk will get you to grocery stores and Target. A short drive will get you to an upscale shopping center. It is also conveniently located to I-64 which will get you into Richmond quickly.

Great room facitities

The staff was great. The room was spacious and provided many amenities. The bathroom was large and the kitchenette was more than satisfactory. I'll stay here my next visit to the area.
