Half-Marathon stay.
The front desk staff was very nice. The rooms were clean and neat. The hotel lobby was clean and bright. Breakfast was more than a "basic continental" but less than a "buffet," with items like biscuits and gravy, fruit, juice, coffee. Location was good. Right off of the interstate, but one exit (5 minutes drive) down from the busiest part of Fredericksburg so it seemed quiet. It was also within walking distance to the commuter lot which we used to get to the Half Marathon we were running. Very convenient.

Overnight stay good but overpriced
we met other family members and the desk staff worked to give us rooms together. Great Job.

One bedroom separate from pullout couch with bathroom in the middle, excellent for 3 adults and twin 11 month olds

The hotel was great. My stay was very short but the bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. I would stay here again.

Great Weekend Stay

Nice place
It was a nice place . You do pay for the ammentities though. Check in procedure was brutal. It took front desk clerk nearly 1/2 hour to check in two guests. Good thing it wasnt busier. Nice accomodations and nice warm breakfast the next morning. Convenient location.

Pleasant surprise
Compared with other hotels in this category, the Country Inn& Suites was quite luxurious! They've done a good job in making the sitting area in the lobby very inviting. The staff is friendly and helpful (they called to our room to see if everything was OK). The room itself was everything we could expect, very clean and neat. No view. But we weren't complaining. It's a little bit of a schlep to get to downtown Fredericksburg, but a GPS made it easier. We were impressed. And definitely would stay there again (this happened to be our third visit).

Nightlife tip:
Short drive from hotel
Downtown Fredericksburg is terrific. Very interesting, very historical, and filled with stores and restaurants. Of course, if you're a Civil War buff, you won't want to miss the tour of the battleground. It's amazing how close many of these engagements were to Washington. Will visit again, it's convenient in driving south/north to and from Florida, at least for someone on the East Coast.

WONDERFUL STAY!!!!
It was worth every dime I stay all over the country and this by far is the best... the five stars have nothing on these hotels!

The hotel is new, clean and quiet. The staff is excellent, coffee and cookies are provided at all time. The hotel is a short drive for everything we need to do. The best value for your money.
