Two rooms
Our stay at the Country Inn & Suites By Carlson in the Fredericksburg area was a pleasant stay with no problems that could possibly occur when staying away from home. I would recommend it to others and would stay again.

There is a Denny's restaurant attached to the hotel which gives a 10% discount when you show the wait staff your room key. Also, the cookies and coffee in the hotel's lobby were quite good.

Fantastic location between 2 destinations
Very friendly staff, clean, great location, breakfast was excellent, our room was comfortable and spacious and my grandaughter wants to know when can she come back

Overnight stay
We stopped here on our way to the beach since hotel is so close to exit on I95. It was clean and the breakfast was adequate.

Could do better
OK but bed was uncomfortable for wife -- sank toward middle. Also top cover kept sliding off and other covers were tucked in too tight. It was also a bit small given there were three adults staying in room.

UMW family
Great hotel
In town for UMW graduation. It's not the closest hotel to campus but well worth the extra few minutes it take to drive there. They are one of a very few hotels that have queen sized beds. Their rates are good and you can always find a discount online. Staff is friendly and helpful. Fresh baked cookies and coffee 24/7. Pets allowed. Very comfortable and quiet hotel.

Good value for price
A good stopping point for a long trip from upstate NY to Myrtle Beach. Near I-95, it's easy to get to. Clean room with mini-fridge and breakfast in the AM is a good value given the proximity to DC.

NIce Comfy Rooms with Easy On/OFf I-95
Very Welcoming. Nice clean andcomfy with good size rooms. Easy on and off of I-95. The breakfast was plentiful and stocked. We arrived late in the evening and the pool and jacuzzi were a welcomed relief after driving many hours. We had both a senior and teen with us and all enjoyed the stay.
