GREAT LOCATION

The location was close to everything in the area & Washington DC also. The only problem we had was after being told dogs were welcomed, we had to sign a release that the dog was not allowed to be left in the room unless one of us were there also. This caused us to have to leave the pup in the vehicle while eating & also could only go to spots where we could walk or carry him. This is not really a good policy after telling us dogs are welcomed!

Not Recommended

Hotel is showing its age and is in need of renovation but is still acceptable. Big surprise was that if you book through a 3rd party such as this website, breakfast is NOT INCLUDED!! We did not know this as this was not discolsed beforehand and ended up shelling over forty bucks for breakfast when we were presented w/ the bill after our meal. Due to that I would NOT RECOMMEND this hotel at all!

Thanksgiving in Washington D.C.

Super clean rooms but there weren't any refrigerators or microwaves in them. Ironing board is tiny and Internet isn't free, unless you're an AT&T customer. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room service was kind of pricey but it was still good. It was a short drive, about 7 minutes away from the metro station, which is very convenient. No free breakfast which is usually offered at the cheap hotels.

Rather than drive into downtown D.C. , park at the Dunn Loring Metro Station. From there, it's just a $6 dollar ticket for a round trip ride to the monuments and back.

Family weekend

Good price for being so close to DC. Unfortunately the traffic noise was rather high, our refrigerator did not work and the mattresses need to be replaced.
