horrible front desk staff
while the rooms were very nice the front desk staff was very rude and unhelpful.

washington dc was a short drive and there were a few restaurants in the hotel

short stay--say overnight
Short stay, friendly staff. Great lobby. Room had few items missing, due to my short stay i had no time to inform housekeeping and get replacement items. Expected those items to be working and there. i.e. COffee pot was broken and missing pieces.Shower head was too big and no water control. Iron wasnt hot enough to do proper ironing.

Business in the area
The staff was great. I do object to the discrimination I experienced in that the rate I paid for the room was not enough to warrant WI-Fi in the room. I also object to a $1.05 charge per local call. I will return if there is no where else to go...

Not a romantic get-a-way or bad deal
My wife and I went for a weekend get-a-way without the kids. With a hotel this fancy you would expect at least a piano player somewhere if not a whole group but all they had was a chintzy sports bar. The price of the stay was great. The food and service at the breakfast buffet was excellent but a little pricey. The shuttle to and from the metro definitely should have been more frequent. The front desk was slow in getting security to let my wife in the room when the key they gave her originally didn't work. We still don't know why they just didn't give her a new key. I would definitely consider the hotel again for a place for business meetings

very nice hotel
Beautiful hotel, nice pool and hot tub, Staff was excellent. Very comfortable beds. Some improvements.... keep pool open til 11. fridge and microwave in rooms would be great. Breakfast was quite expensive, Shuttle to metro doesnt run after 9;30 which is inconvenient if you want to hang out in washington. Internet service in a hotel such as this should be included and not cost 12.95

What a great experience.
The FairView Marriott is a great place to stay. The hotel staff was wonderful the room was nice and after we got our GPS to work we found out every thing was near the location. They even little cafe's on the other side of the hotel. One thing they need to fix is there shuttle bus, the one problem of it not being organized and no log, so when we used it and asked to be picked up at a certain time there was no seats and we had to wait again. I can say in there regards that they were having a church convention and there were alot of people there. Other than that great hotel will like to stay again.

Very quite and family friendly.
Room has no refregerator and provided after insisting the needs. Today, even motels have refregerator in the room. You have to consider it.

good choice
nice hotel, helpfull staff, good location. I enjoyed very nice SPA, my son like outdoor pool. Continental breakfest was not as good, but that the only complain. Oh, yes, and there were no refrigerator in the room. Even small one would make a big difference for me.

Fairview Park Marriott
Did not get to spend alot of time in the hotel but the time spent was phenome. The staff was kknowledable and friendly. The hotel was clean and beautiful. I'll be back in August.
