Almost there
My daughter and I spent a long weekend in D.C. for sightseeing and R & R. The hotel was very attractive with a great hot tub/pool/exercise area. The room was great, its unique design was a relief from the standard small square. Unfortunately, we couldn't take full advantage of the fantastic metro system in D.C. because this hotel only offers an hourly shuttle to the metro and a taxi will cost you $10 without tip. It would take some serious scheduling, which is not conducive to R & R, to not have annoying wait time. If they increased the shuttle to twice an hour I'd go again.

Not a romantic get-a-way or bad deal
My wife and I went for a weekend get-a-way without the kids. With a hotel this fancy you would expect at least a piano player somewhere if not a whole group but all they had was a chintzy sports bar. The price of the stay was great. The food and service at the breakfast buffet was excellent but a little pricey. The shuttle to and from the metro definitely should have been more frequent. The front desk was slow in getting security to let my wife in the room when the key they gave her originally didn't work. We still don't know why they just didn't give her a new key. I would definitely consider the hotel again for a place for business meetings

we love this place!
Lots of covered parking, easy and quick checkin, friendly staff, the best breakfast burritos ever!, 15 minutes from downtown without the downtown prices, great beds & pillows.

Nice Stay
We wanted a nice stay near DC. Our conditions were it shouldn't be far from DC and price should be reasonable. We got what we thought. There are no complaints... but they should make wifi free.

Beautifully renovated peacefully located
The beautifully landscaped, secluded approach to the hotel set the tone for our stay. The lobby and interiors were beautifully appointed and spotless; the service at the front desk, the restaurant, and the bistro/bar were uniformly excellent. The room was spacious, and the entire facility spotlessly maintained. The grounds are extensive and beautifully landscaped, inviting one to take lengthy, leisurely walks. The complimentary shuttle service to the metro, and available breakfast package make this an unbeatable choice.There was only one downside. . when we attempted to extend our stay one night (a Monday), the quoted rate at both the front desk and [...] was triple the rate we paid for Saturday and Sunday nights.

Nice, quite location, liked the park around. Room was clean, requested 2 joined rooms - got it - thank you. pool was also nice, but a little beat too small, but was OK for the kids. Breakfast was really good, but no clients were really for the dinner at the restaurant / bar. Had to go to the city. Overall, we like this hotel, perfect for the family weekend getaway. Reasonable pricing, like an idea with complimentary breakfast. We used this hotel twice already for the stay at Washington DC. Looking forward for the next trip and stay there. Thank you.

short stay--say overnight
Short stay, friendly staff. Great lobby. Room had few items missing, due to my short stay i had no time to inform housekeeping and get replacement items. Expected those items to be working and there. i.e. COffee pot was broken and missing pieces.Shower head was too big and no water control. Iron wasnt hot enough to do proper ironing.
