Comfort Inn Arlington Boulevard

It was okay. The room desk could have been larger and the hotle could not direct me to a local car rental agency which I found odd. The day time front desk personnel didn't seem to care much about customer service as I had to wait for the desk clerk to finish a conversation with a fellow employee before i was engaged in conversation.

good breakfast, quiet sleep, nice location (but they were paving the parking lot.)

I didn't realize I would be placed in the basement d/t my smoking - next time I will book a non smoking room and just go outside to smoke. The room I was assigned was about 60 years old; a plug in air freshener would have been extremely helpful (or perhaps just bring my own plug in air fresherner).

Pretty basic, no luxury but very clean and accomodating. The shuttle service to the metro station was helpful but would have been better if it ran more often and later into the evening. We had to organize our days according to the times the shuttle ran. Also, would have been nice to have a microwave in the room.

I had to leave a day early due to falling and breaking ankle and had to be driven home for ermerency surgery.... The staft at the hotel was helpful - when we could get a english speaking person..

The wireless internet worked great in the front office, but didn't work in the room, at all. The business center was a single old computer that was often occupied during normal hours. All of the staff were very friendly, prompt, and helpful, and the hotel was always actively being maintained. Breakfast was very nice, but super carb heavy, e.g. pancakes, muffins, cakes, cereal, waffles, only hard boiled eggs were the exception. All nicely done, well stocked and maintained during the time, however. Great location, but getting in and out of the hotel is very odd, and sometimes frustrating. It is located on a frontage road that can only be accessed from one direction. We mostly came from the wrong direction (route to DC), and so we had to make some convoluted moves to get into the hotel each time. Mostly quiet, could hear loudly hacking neighbor in next room. Pool was nice and had a lifeguard on duty, which is very nice with the kids. The maid service was terrific. Everything was very clean and kept nice each day. The beds were very stiff, but we grew used to it over the course of the stay. The air conditioning was miserable. It's pointed directly at the beds, so when it is on, you're freezing, which wakes you up to pull covers on, and then when it shuts off you get boiling hot, so you wake up and pull the covers off. After the first night, we put a chair in front of the AC so it wasn't blowing on us, and that mostly solved the problem. Except for the AC unit and no wireless, there was nothing wrong with the hotel, it kept us dry and off the ground at night while we traipsed all over the area during the day. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great.
