Great Place to Stay
The Hyatt in Fairfax was very nice, the room was very large and plush. I enjoyed having a seperate room for television watching and a room with the beds. The beds also, were very comfortable, if the beds were not the most comfortable beds I ever slept on they were very close. I would recommend anyone to this hotel and I plan on returning to it on my next visit.

There is a great Japenses stake house in the shopping mall next to the hotel very reasonable in price to. I recommend the steak, shrimp and lobster combination.

Very nice hotel and good location
The hotel was very nice and all the people were very friendly. The location was easy to find and near a major highway.Very nice buffet breakfast.

There is a very nice Super market nearby called Whole Foods. They sell gourmet foods and great salad bar.

Nice Hotel
Very nice hotel with nice amenities. Room was laid out nicely and very clean. Very close to Washington DC. Staff was very friendly. Only negative was dining options appeared to be a little pricey. I would stay again and would recommend hotel to others.

Great amenities
The Hyatt Fair Lakes was a wonderful place to stay,the room was very spacious with a sofa sleeper and large desk and chair to hook up my computer and work from. The bathroom area was beautiful and very spacious. The sink was outside the bathroom and had a large countertop. The closet had full length mirrors for your full view and the closet was very large. The hotel had everything you needed right at your fingertips.The location was right of the freeway but very quite, the area was beautiful, and there were restaurants and shopping just a couple of blocks away. You have easy access to everything. I enjoy my stay and I will visit again.

Just a couple of blocks away, there were variety was great, there was fast food, buffet style, breakfast, seafood, Italian, Steakhouse, etc.. Prices were very reasonable.

I really liked this hotel and the desk staff was great. This is a great place to use as a DC base camp, you simply drive 4 miles east on I-66 to the Metro station and hop the train into DC...also it is very close to the Air & Space Museum. What I did not like and still feel a little rattled by was the unprofessional lifeguard at the pool. She was a tyrant and yelled at kids who were not doing anything wrong. At one point she told all the kids to get out of the pool so she could have a cigarette break..I understand (and appreciate) a lifeguard at a pool but this was a bit like a guard dog with a bad temper. This lifeguard made me and my kids feel uneasy and I had to answer a lot of questions on the ride home that I feel stemmed from the emotional outbursts of the lifeguard. Otherwise a great place to stay!

Nice hotel of course. I did not receive my wake up call that I had requested. Luckily the alarm clock worked or I would have missed my flight.

Great Tourist Hotel
This hotel far exceeded our expectations. It was a beautiful facility, truly 4 star, with an office space within the room. The amenities were wonderful and the restaurant was superb. We received a 50% discount off outstanding meals. We were not even tempted to go to the nearby mall and try the restaurants there. We were located right near the interstate (less than five minutes) which took us to the metro where we could park the car and ride into Washington, D.C. We enjoyed having a lovely place to return for a relaxing evening. The bed was soft and comfy with down covers. We would love to return to this hotel at the same special price!
