Hyatt Fair Lakes

One of the best deals I've gotten! I went for my birthday, and upon arrival they upgraded my room at no extra charge! The staff was super friendly and accommodating. They even sent a surprise birthday dessert to my room! Service was quick and easy, the hotel was amazingly well kept, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Definitely staying here again!

It was a beautiful hotel. Did not like that there was not a fridge in the room and internet was not complimentary in the particular package we bought. Internet should always be complimentary! Other then that it was a great stay. I loved that there was an iHome included in the room!

Had a hard time understanding staff, English was primarily not the first language. Wanted to use the shuttle to go to the mall, as the website advertised. The front desk stated the shuttle was unavailable and called us a cab. As we waited for the cab, we saw two shuttles in the parking lot. The Nova Grill staff was excellent.

Great Hotel! The staff was super nice and helpful. Rooms were very roomy and clean. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Considering that a large room with 2 beds was only $60 for a night (booking at the last minute) this hotel was excellent! The staff was friendly. The only part I felt needed a bit of improvement was their "business are" which consisted of 2 Macs and a printer with no ink. However they allowed me to print by sending them what I needed printed in an email, so staff was friendly and helpful.

This hotel is in a very nice area of Fairfax. There are a lot of restaurants & retailers nearby...almost anything you could need is close by. DC is about 40 min away...not bad. As far as the hotel goes, the parking lot was big, well lit & there was plenty of parking. The lobby, bar & restaurant areas near check in were recently renovated & therefore very nice. It was very modern & cool. Check in & check out were both a breeze....fast, pleasant & no issues. My room was large, pretty clean & nicer than I expected. It felt almost like a miniature apartment. There were only a few things I didn't like: 1. The walls are paper thin & I got to hear a screaming baby for 2 days. Yay. 2. No fridge in the room. 3. No free WiFi. 4. A vent fan in the bathroom would be nice. Other than that, pretty nice hotel overall & I didn't feel like I was staying somewhere cheap, even though I paid very little. I would definitely recommend this hotel to someone who wants to stay somewhere nice, on a budget.

It was a very nice and clean hotel. I was very impressed when we got ther just wish I could've spent more time there. Staff was very helpful to our needs.

Price was EXCELLENT and room was beautiful - view was of the roof of the pool- no so good, but spent little time in the room. Staff was EXCELLLENT. [...]indicated that there was $150 resort credit. After three visits to the front desk and two calls to [...]never did get it resolved.

The Hotel is very pretty and clean. What I did not like is the bed. The mattress seems old and not that comphy. Also, I had ordered a King Room and ended up with a queen room. No price difference either. I was disappointed. Also, my friends vehicle was broken into in the parking lot. I thought this area was safe but it is not. I do not blame the Hotel for the broken in vehicle..just disappointed with the area. I would not go back because the bed was just uncomfortable and then my friends car was broken into.

Good hotel, but because of construction it was a little bit inconvenient.
