Awful Will never go back
The room was nasty. There was a roach in the bathroom. I guess I went cheap and got what I deserved.

Clean/quiet/nice staff, kitchen a plus.
Grandmother with two grandkids explored D.C. and attended a rally. After a long day, so nice to return to a pleasant and spacious room. Will stay here again!

To get to D.C., you can either take a bus to the Metro, or drive to the Metro station. Parking is $1/hour weekdays, free on weekends.

Truly a pet friendly place with enough space for a portable crib as well.

Expensive, no hot water 1st night.
The hotel was at $100/night way too expensive. I had no idea that the rooms here would only be cleaned once a week. It's very basic and mostly construction workers etc stayed here (although that wasn't a problem). When I came into town, the first night there wasn't any hot water which is unacceptable and disappointing. The first 9 or so channels on the TV did not work (no ABC etc)......

Sweetwater Restaurant is fairly close and I had a very nice dinner there.

Comfy enough
Internet use is of extra charge while other comparable inns/hotels have this service already inclusive of the rate. Also I find it a bit disappointing that some toiletries (that are normally provided in a typical hotels/inns) are not there. Overall, it was still a good and pleasant stay. Size of room is comfortable with eat-in kitchen and complete kitchen necessities. Staffs are prompt and accommodating.

I'd rather sleep in the car!
I was on travel from work and arrived at this hotel too late to change to anything close by. The room smelled like dog urine, the bed sheets were stained, they didn't even have doors on the closets, there were holes in the walls. I seriously considered getting my money back and sleeping in the car. If only my car had a shower! DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!

Okay for the purpose of sleeping.......
VERY difficult to locate. Had a trip tik, but that wasn't helpful. Called the hotel and THEY couldn't give me directions, finally stopped at City Hall for assistance (thank Goodness for their staff). No shampoo, no creme rinse, no hairdryer in the holder (when requested one, it never showed). Would not do room service if staying less than 3 nights. Looks like an old Howard Johnson's that had been repainted and kitchenettes put into. Carpeting was pretty dingy. Alarm on radio didn't work. No tv channel guide, many of the channels wouldn't come in. The "walkways" to get to the room doors on the main floor were dirt paths between bushes that had been cut out. No ice machine. No pool. Would not deliver extra towels to room if requested you had to go to the main office. The room was fairly clean and no signs of bed bugs or roaches (this is a plus!) Just needed a place to flop, so for the price, it was just okay.
