DC HHM Cafe
Everything seemed average and dated, in fair condition. My room was a little cold and the bathroom was colder. I stayed there for two days. By the second day the room was comfortable and the bathroom was still a little cold. It was unusually cold in VA the two days I was there. I still thought it was a good value.

There are a lot of restaurants, stores and shops in the area. It is close to the airport. It is close to the office.

DC office visit
They assigned my to the lousy room next to the elevator. Noise all night long.

Check in early and check room. Make sure it's satisfactery. I checked in late and was so tired I didn't have the energy to change rooms. Instead I had handicap room next to the elevator. The sink was too low and the noise from the elevator keep me up.

Great Location!
I highly recommend this hotel. The helpful staff, comfortable rooms and great location are wonderful! Comfort Inn University Center is also an environmental friendly facility. In addition, the hotel provides a shuttle service for transport to and from the Vienna Fairfax Washington Metro station. All this, plus reasonable rates and a good rest, for people and pets! Thank you!

Very basic
This is a very basic hotel at the very last stop on the orange Metro line. The hotel shuttle folks were very helpful about getting us to the places we needed to go, but we usually spent 20-30 minutes at the Metro station in the evening waiting for pick-up, even when we called 30 min. ahead. Free breakfast is helpful when traveling, but apple juice one morning was nearly pure water, next day they were out of pepper.

Weary New York Traveler visiting Fairfax
Clean, modern and comfortable
I was in Fairfax for last-minute business, and found this Comfort Inn online the day before I was arriving from New York. The price was reasonable and the room was clean, modern and spacious. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and I am fussy about such things. The free continental breakfast was a nice touch, with waffles, bagels, fruit, cereal, orange juice and coffee. For a quick overnight, this was the perfect hotel for me.

Not the greatest
The staff was very nice, but there was mold and mildew in the shower and the carpets were not clean. It was just not the cleanest hotel I've stayed in. It wasn't a dump, but I wouldn't give it more than 2 stars out of 5.

perfect hotel!!!
I very much enjoyed staying at the Comfort Inn University Center Hotel. I was very pleased with the warm ambience and quiet, non-smoking stress-free atmosphere. The hotel staff were all very nice, friendly and helpful. I really liked the facilities,too, including the laundry area and daily breakfast. In a word, this is the very best hotel I have ever stayed at, and in the future, when visiting Fairfax Virginia and the Washington DC area, I look forward to staying at the Comfort Inn University Center again. Thank you!
