The room that we got was a smoking room and we were not happy. It was not the greatest experience. We ended up at another hotel that cost more. Not happy with this motel.

Bowling Weekend

The price was super. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Nice to have a couch and/or extra room to sprawl while taking it easy. Pretty quiet. The heating/cooling unit is not going to disturb you like those used by many motel chains. Close to restaurants, shopping, gas stations and most anything you want. Easy access from major travel routes. Definitely on our list to return to when in the area.

Good stay at the Microtel!

We travelled to Blacksburg for just one night to take our son on a College Visit. The Microtel worked out perfectly -- very reasonably priced and met our needs! The front desk personnel were very friendly and helpful and the hotel was CLEAN! We were surprised our stay included breakfast in the morning! Would stay here again!

College visit and athletic event

Perfect!

My wife and I both felt that the hotel was extremely clean and staff very helpful. The bedsheets were white and without any stains, the room had a brand new flat screen TV, and the bathroom was immaculate. For the money, you dont expect to get a hotel this nice. The next time we go to Christiansburg we know where we are staying.
