89* outside and broken AC unit. Bed harder than the concrete floor Roaches and Water Bugs Greasy soap Rude staff - When I asked for a handicapped room, they put me on the 2nd floor! ("there's an elevator") $50 a night wasn't worth staying for 4 hours and just driving back to D.C. rather than deal with the bugs.

We have stayed at Sun Suites several times. The rooms are basic with a full kitchen that includes dishes and pans. Stays of more than one night do not include daily housekeeping services. Cleaning is done weekly. There is a laundry on site. The grounds are clean and well landscaped.

Checked in and set schedule for cleaning/restock of linens and paper goods for Tuesday and thourough cleaning on Friday. Arrived in room to find a mattress that looked like someone was lying in the bed even though it was made up. Found the springs in the matress were COMPLETELY flattened on the right side of the bed. On the second day, went to turn on the TV and the power button fell into the cabinet of the TV. On Tuesday, when linens and paper goods were to be restocked, no one ever came to the room. EVERY day about 9:30 a jackhammer was run as they were removing and replacing the stairs. The elevator sounded like a car with no wheels being drub over pavement. Not the best stay I have ever had.

I stayed two nights here, had an original reservation for four nights and our room (#113) was infested with roaches! I complained to the night manager Monique the first night and she didn't help. They didnt offer to move me to another room. I left the hotel the entire day and came back the next night to the same problem. This time, I complained to Chris. I then proceeded to check out in the middle of the night! While at the same time trying to find a room somewhere else. Management was awful and didn't help at all! Ruined my Vacation!

The beds were painfully uncomfortable. The light/fan in the bathroom was so loud the walls rattled. The shower head shot more water backwards against the wall than into the tub. The stairs were blocked by trashcans and luggage carts. The sidewalk had a very slippery soap on it. The fridge was hot and the temp knob was missing. They are renovating this place but I don't think it will help.

I travel and only really need a bed tv and a shower to be content. The room was as dirty as I have ever seen. after walking on the floor the dirt would run off your feet in the shower. Towels provided once a week,no towel mat. The drawers would not open,body fluids on the blankets, stove did not work,ceiling cracked and falling. The bed was so broke down and creaked so loud it woke you when you slept. The state has 42% of rooms rented for living full time admitted per the hotel. left for another hotel in discust. Asked for manager did not answer cell while the desk called while onsite. This is as honest of a review as I can give someone out of respect for fellow travel patrons.

This Was a Working Trip. We Travel each week staying In Different Hotels .And States the Hotel was very good .The only problem was when we arrived they did not have rollBeds for 2 Employees we had to purchase another Room for two Days Will not Stay again unless carpet is cleaned could not walk on floor in socks

Stayed at the hotel while preparing to be in a friend's wedding. The rooms were a tad bit dark, and the tv was a little out dated but working. If you plan on using the stove, bring your own pots and pans because there are none, and ensure that the water flows out of the tub correctly.

This was exactly what we needed. This was a one night trip and we didn't plan to spend much time in the room. When we got to the room we were surprised at the quality of the room. Eveything in the room worked as expected. It is close to shopping, restaurants, and about 20 minutes from Virginia Beach.

The place was ok, pretty clean, needed some scrubing, but it was ok for me because I just slept there and left. Not a place I would want to stay again though, but it was cheap and the sheets were clean. Merely OK!
