We attended a funeral while there. Location was close to family and to church. Within a 5-minute drive to dining, shopping center, movie theatre , drug store and anything else you could need.

Room was clean which is always the first concern for me no matter where I stay. Appreciated the internet but would have liked to have a coffee maker, blow dryer and maybe a fridge. The bed was the worst I've slept on in years. They really need new beds and pillows.

Do yourself a favor and splurge for a better hotel. You will not regret it. The beds sag horrifically and the non-smoking rooms reek of smoke. There were roaches in the bathroom.

Pleasant experience. started off being allowed to check in about 3 hours early - much appreciated as had afternoon function, so able to get ready at room. room average - good value for the money. staff was very helpful - getting extra towels & making fresh coffee in lobby - especially in the evening :) would definitely stay here again.

This hotel was fine, and very busy on a Friday night, given its reasonable price. We opted for the King room. The modern furnishings and quiet refrigerator made for a pleasant atmosphere. Because all the rooms face the parking lot, there was some noise from outside. The staff was friendly and we felt safe (contrary to some other reviews.)

The hotel was clean, reasonably priced, and conveniently located. There was nothing fancy, but everything you would need.

I stayed at this hotel for five days in the late winter. The first night, there was loud noise (argument) from about 3-4 AM. The walls are paper thin, and the rooms are exterior, that is, they look out on the parking lot. So noise carries far. Most of the rest of the week was quiet except for one evening, when there was noise of people checking in to their room about 1 AM. You get what you pay for with this hotel: no frills, no breakfast, fairly small rooms. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. The maid service was great, and the front desk was efficient albeit not always cheerful. I would stay here again by myself, but not with family. They did not travel with me this time. The pluses are a convenient location: same exit as a lot of shopping and restaurants, but on the less trafficked side. And price, as I mentioned.

Other than a slightly grumpy person at the service desk when I first checked in, this was an ideal location. It was close to the stores, when I needed something quickly. I was in town to take the Virginia Bar Exam, and it was really quite easy to get to Norfolk, where the exam was.

The hotel didn't have any of the luxuries like a miny frig, coffee maker, iron, nothing.
