Days Inn Chesapeake/Virginia Beach Norfolk

The hotel was very clean. Staff was nice. The hotel was located near Restaraunts and shopping. Only 20 miles from Va. Beach. Dunkin Donots right in praking lot.You can walk to the restaraunts.

Went to VA for a friends wedding. Was worried due to all the bad reviews but instead found a super clean hotel that looked looked on the inside, and the outside wasn't horrible either. Complimentary breakfast was fine. The bad? the cleaning service started at 9 am and didn't end until 5 or 6, including the fact we got kicked out so they could finish. Other than that, nice stay.

Costumer service was the worst, rude and not helpful at all. The rooms did not look like what you see on the website, stinky and nasty. The room where one of my friends was staying with her 6 month old baby did not had an ac, it had broke and when she went to the office, they told her there was nothing they could do. Next to my room were some people drinking and being loud. and last but not least theres lots of weird looking people walking around ( it look looked they where up to no good). THE WORST NIGHTMARE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!

The location was excellent. It was near stores, gas stations,the post office, and all different kinds of foods places to choose from. The hotel it self looked dreary. Boards were missing from the stairs, curtains were dirty,bed had stains on it, rug needed a good cleaning. I guess it was true you get what you pay for. This was really only a place to lay your head down. Nothing spectacular about this place.

I reserved two rooms three plus months in advance for my wife and I as well as another couple we were traveling with. On arrival I was informed we were not going to have adjoining rooms, we got to our rooms and in my wife and I had our towels and was cloths tossed in the middle of our bed, the mini fridge had food left in it and a container that looked to have urine in it. The television worked half, you couldnt change the channel and the room was hot, the air didnt work. Our companions room had pubic hairs in the shower area and around the toilet area, they didnt have enough towels, their tv didnt work at all, the floors didnt look cleaned and their lock on the door was iffy. I hope you dont recomend this place to anyone else.

We worked in the area for several weeks and the staff was always ready to help and was quite friendly. we had no problems really worth mentioning

Without a doubt,this was one of the worst motels I have ever stayed in. As you pull into the parking lot you see peeling paint, overgrown weeds, nasty parking lot. When checking in, there are velvet poinsettias in the lobby, (this is July!) Rooms were nasty, dead mosquitos on the walls, bugs in the bathroom light, nasty box springs, rusty hinges on doors. Just to sum it up, we slept in our clothes! Obviously, we did not stay more than one night!

Upon arrival, the area was dark and noisy; people were sitting outside one or two rooms despite the fact that the temperature and humidity were in the high 80's; the bed was hard and the linen was wrinkled, the bathroom floor was weak and cracked; the microwave was dirty with left-over, spilled food inside; the furniture was sticky; hair dryer light flickered all night; and the vanity faucet was dirty, water and soap stains, and needs to be replaced. Serious renovation is needed and a visit by Days Inn authorities is suggested. I have stayed at other Days Inns including a multi-story facility in Chicago which led me to think this one would be OK. I was wrong. I cannot believe this place was renovated in 2005. If it were, something is seriously wrong. I would not stay there again nor would I recommend it to anyone.
