Room is clean, the bed is very comfortable, although I did request a certain roon. Good location from resturants, shopping & gas!

We've stayed at Cedar Tree Inn several times while visiting family in the area. The rooms have always been clean and the staff pleasant. Each room has a microwave and refrigerator. The pool has been filled in. There are numerous restaurants in the area. There are vending machines in the lobby and some microwaveable items are available at the front desk.

Overall my stay was good, when I checked in, the receptionist was not very customer service friendly due to circumstances that were happening around her. When she did check me in, her attitude could have been better checking me in. The rest of the staff I encountered was friendly and courteous. TV only had one channel, luckily for me it was a channel I could watch, I was not in the room all that much so it did not matter all that much. I felt safe in the hotel which was comforting.

I wouldve slept anywhere after a LONG day of flight delays, but when I woke the next am, I realized there was no way my daughter & I could stay another night. The bedding was stained & smelled, It didnt even seem safe to unpack. The TV didn't work- had to unplug it to turn it off. Ill never do this thing again where I have to pay before knowing what hotel Ill be staying at. This was just an expensive lesson as I had to pay for 5 nights elsewhere across the street.

I was a little skeptical of getting such a great price for the room, so it far exceeded my expectations. The neighborhood was safe, easy to reach from the highway, close enough to Virginia Beach and all kinds of great locales. The cleaning staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Their supervisor was not so much. The desk clerks were average. Free wi-fi, fridge and microwave in room, clean comfortable beds, a hot shower, no complaints!

I was very pleased with the rate and the hotel. Expected it to be lower quality, but was just as good as a higher priced hotel. Did notice one bug one night, but other than that, things were good. Wireless internet worked well. Housekeeping forgot to give me more soap and shampoo, but I had brought some, so it wasn't a horrible thing.

It's like you're sleeping on wood! Horrible mattresses! even the best sweets, too! like the room with heart jackuzi! the bed was still hard! I went to 3 different rooms to try to get a better bed then gave up and took the heart jackuzii room.

The lobby smells like old, stale cigarette smoke. They do allow smoking in some of the rooms. I had a non-smoking room, and though the hallway smelled like smoke when I first arrived, the smell did not permeate into my room nor did I smell it again after that day. For the price, this hotel is definitely worth the stay.

The hotel was in a business park area, yet close to whatever you needed. It was clean, comfortable and quiet at night. The staff was professional, courteous and helpful. The only reason I gave it 2-stars for comfort is because the bed in the older style, albeit clean and sufficient. We did find the mattress a little hard. Since most of the time we were in the room we were sleeping, the mattress was pretty important. It was a great value, and serve our purpose without question. Keeping my comments in mind, I'd recommend it.
