I was only checked in for ~7 hours which was tolerable. The staff was very pleasant and helpful, but the room itself left something to be desired.

This hotel has a pleasant staff and a good location, but you need to make sure to bring your own watch since the bed side clocks are frequently not workng properly.

You get what you pay for
While the location was great for access to campus, the overall experience was unsettling. After I checked in, they twice gave me room keys to rooms that had not been made up yet and still had folks items in them. Scary! Makes you wonder what happens when you are not there.

Got to Bogo's Bagels for breakfasts. Just past Dunkin Donuts and the famous Mincer's, Bogo's has great service and great food...even for a bagel place.

Not worth it.
Ehhh, nothing to write home about. We asked for a 2nd car pass and they acted like we were asking for a free night. Then when we got into the room, there were only 2 towels (that felt like sandpaper) in the room, and only two pillows. When we called the front desk to ask a question, they refused to answer. No continental breakfast. They did provide juice and coffee til 10:00, but the OJ was simply yellow water. The only positive thing i have to say is the location... Its right next door to Mellow Mushroom (great pizza) But i'd recommend going a bit further and staying somewhere else.

A. I booked a non-smoking room. They insisted I had a smoking one. B. I requested a room change, but got rejected for no available room left(which I found out was a lie). C. The sheets smelt and looked dirty. However, I have to admit the location is awesome.

UVA parent
The only good thing is the location
We stayed here while moving our daughter back into UVA and wanted to be near her apartment. The staff was surly and unhelpful, the rooms were dumpy, and they had our car towed from the garage, costing us $150 and not even giving us adequate instructions for finding the tow lot, let alone an apology. Avoid this one unless you're desperate.

Disappointed Traveler
Do not stay here!
We stayed there because it was close to Virginia University Hospital as my wife had an appointment. We requested a non-smoking room, it stunk of cigarette smoke. The room felt damp, even the sheets felt wet. While we slept, it felt as though things were crawling on us. The mattress felt as though it was worn out- dipped in the middle. My wife ended up with a terrible head cold from the dampness.
