Good Review
This was a fine place to stay with no outstanding or disparaging remarks. The concierge ranged from a gruff check-in host to friendly and enthusiastic at the end of our visit. We requested a room with refridge and got one with no fuss or cost. Free newspaper and relaxing pool. No hot tub. Continental breakfast was very good with healthy choices like Kashi cereal and fresh fruit. Even though the hours were 6 am - 10 am we were able to come down at 5:45 am for our last breakfast there.

The Charlottesville Mall is a fun place to visit with lots of dining choices. Great to get away from all the chains !

Not what I expected from a Marriott
Bugs! Bugs! Bugs! I killed at least 4 BIG bugs while I was there and I only stayed 2 nights. I also came home with a number of bug bites in weird places on my body so I'm not sure if they were actually in the bed. Also my toilet would NOT flush. When I called the front desk to have it fixed a very nice lady came up and messed with the chaing then actually told me if it broke again to reach my hand in the toilet and mess with the chain!! Riiiiiiiiight. I ended up having to call to have it fixed 2 more times. The front desk staff was very pleasent.

Good deal with friendly staff
Very friendly and helpful staff. First room smelled smoky, but front desk quickly found me a new room when I complained. Short easy drive to the university and downtown. Free breakfast was decent and included healthy options like cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, and fruit.

Great stay
Clean, fresh, with a GREAT breakfast. Rooms were large and well equipted for busines and relaxation. I will stay here on my next trip to Charlottsville.

Hotel review.
Staff was friendly. Hotel was clean. Nice continental breakfast. My only complaint is they run a $20 charge on your card to cover "incidentals". This was not explained at check-in. The money will not be returned until 2-3 weeks after you check-out.

Clean, friendly, convenient
We were able to check in quickly and effienctly. Our room was clean and neat. The only negative was the breakfast area was very busy in the morning and as a result the coffee was empty. We made reservations for our next trip to Charlottesville and feel very good about it.

Great place to stay
We spent our last night of the trip here. 5 min to airport and just down the road was a really great restaurant called The Boat House. It was also next door to Applebee's. The room was comfortable and the staff helpful. Also has a great well stocked continental breakfast.
