The only affordable place in town with QUEEN beds!
We found this hotel to fit our needs in every way. It was clean and comfortable and got the job done. It was a little further out than we wanted to be, but that didn't end up causing much of an issue for us. I always get irritated when the pool closes at 11 (as it did in this case). They even go through the trouble of kicking you out! We also had a problem with the reservation in that we booked 2 queens with a request for a rollaway, but did not learn until check in (at 10PM) that it was a fire hazard and we could not do that. As we were trying to squeeze 5 people into one room, one member of our party had to sleep on the floor! The "gym" is just weird....located in what clearly used to be a hotel room with all the furniture removed. Just weird.

Great President's Weekend Getaway

Great Location in Charlottesville
We stayed a couple of nights in this very clean hotel. It was near all the places that we wanted to visit. Breakfast buffet was more than adequate. Would stay here again. The staff was magnificent.

Charlottesville Courtyard North
Staff was very friendly and the room was spotless. I really like the showerheads at this hotel. Air conditioning was very good considering the very hot days that occurred during my stay. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at the Marriott Courtyard Charlottesville North again on my next stay in town. Actually I have already booked it for the Thanksgiving Holiday.

The Villa for breakfast is very good. It is located right next to the Cavalier Inn right on Emmitt Street about a block north of Mem Gym.

history lov'n family
"The bad Flush"
We had a over flow 2 x's in the bathroom and cobwebs around the smoke detector. Both of our room cards would not work at differnt x's and we had to go get them fixed. Top it off my daughter almost wet her pants because we could not get in the room. The guest service was very nice but it was just an over all pain.

Nice Place to Stay
We stayed here during a recent trip to visit my daughter at UVA. The room was ready when we arrived and was very clean. The hotel staff was very friendly and the common areas of the hotel were all very neat. The hotel is close to UVA and also close to shopping and several places to eat.
