Great location, rooms are a little small but perfectly fine for 2 adults, very clean and in good condition. You can tell they take care to make the rooms comfortable and updated.

A place to sleep
Experience was Ok. Beds are not comfortable at all and shower water pressure was not good. Hot breakfast was the best part.

Perfect location; friendly staff.
The Cavalier Inn is owned by the University of Virginia & has recently been renovated. The foyer has high ceilings, beautiful woodwork and the walls provide a wonderful exhibition of historical photographs showing university events in times gone by. The gracious hospitality of the staff is a gift to the tired traveler.

UVA Orientation
The hotel and the staff were super, except that our room located on the side facing the street and was quite noisy especially in the early morning. The other side of the hotel would probably better as they have this sound blocking window on the outside.

Great location, great value
We were quite pleased with the clean, quiet room, friendly staff and great free breakfast. This is a very good value for an Inn right next to the Campus of UVA. The beds were comfortable and so were the pillows. We appreciated the easy access to town and Route 64.

perfect location for a visit of UVA
walking distance of UVA and a helpful staff. Rooms are basic and comfortable. Good deal for a short trip to visit the campus. Don t forget to use the complimentary shuttle from and to the airport!

Delightful hotel
A charming hotel: friendly helpful staff, both in the evening and the next morning, really comfortable beds, and the complimentary breakfast filled up my teenage son. Couldn't ask for better.

UVA visit
Pleasantly surprised. Last minute reservation. From the outside pretty plain but nice inside with pleasant staff. Fitness room, pool, breakfast, free shuttle to the airport all a pleasant surprise. Walking distance to UVA, the Corner, church, shopping. Much better than the Red Roof Inn or the Holiday Inn.
