Delightful hotel
A charming hotel: friendly helpful staff, both in the evening and the next morning, really comfortable beds, and the complimentary breakfast filled up my teenage son. Couldn't ask for better.

Nice, but....
Pleasant facility with a number of recent upgrades - flat panel TV, microwave, and refrigerator. Apparently upgrades are not uniform as some refrigerators have freezer compartments and others don't. Complimentary breakfast was fairly limited - somewhat soggy waffles, dry cereal, standard pastries, juice, coffee, etc. Only complaint was that hot water ran out in middle of shower. Kind of expected at least an apology at check out but no comment or explanation was received. Shill I'll stay there again when I am backi in Charlottesville.

Campus Visit
Chose hotel because it is within easy walking distance of UVA. Older facility but with a number of recent upgrades. Provides refrigerator, microwave and safe. Also offers continental breakfast.

UVA Orientation
The hotel and the staff were super, except that our room located on the side facing the street and was quite noisy especially in the early morning. The other side of the hotel would probably better as they have this sound blocking window on the outside.

Great location, great value
We were quite pleased with the clean, quiet room, friendly staff and great free breakfast. This is a very good value for an Inn right next to the Campus of UVA. The beds were comfortable and so were the pillows. We appreciated the easy access to town and Route 64.

Very Comfortable
My wife was very nervous after she told me to make the reservations but upon arrival I got the thumbs up. The staff was very pleasant and the rooms were super clean. This is a very nice hotel. I don't think anyone would be dissappointed staying here. Thanks

Near to the Corner
Although it appears the Cav Inn had a bit of a face lift recently (new carpet and drapes in the room), the bathroom was very dated and sorely in need of new fixtures, exhaust fan, and the ceiling was in very sad shape. The bed was not that comfortable, and the train coming through (about a block away) several times through the night meant that it was not a very restful night for me. The breakfast was okay; it was sufficient to get us through to lunch; but I will say the hotel staff at in the dining room were very helpful and attentive.
