A Okay Stay
I have stayed at this Budget Inn twice already and this time when I stayed it was pretty good except that around 2am someone knocked on my door twice and didn't say anything. It was kind of strange for a second, really caught me off guard. I stayed up for awhile to see if the person was going to knock again, but they didn't and I finally went back to sleep; other than that my stay was okay for the price and location.

Good no-frills accommodation
Room was clean, bed comfortable, bathroom recently remodeled in retro tile--nice touch. If you want to pay $50 more per night to get a box of Kleenex and a little bottle of skin cream, go ahead, but if you just want clean, basic accommodation for the night, this is a good value. One little thing I would have liked to have in the room was a little desk or table w/ chair to use my laptop (the dresser was too high, so had to use the bedside nightstand).

not too bad but not too great.
The heater took 4 hours to heat up the room. It was difficult to get the heat output correct. Two trains went by in the night and woke us up.

Minimalistic hostel environment
Good location, overpriced minimalistic accomodation. Room disinfectant odor. Bait & switch pricing. (Government employee discount?) Thanks for making another taxpayer enemy.

Location, location, price
If you want to be close to U.Va., you can't beat it. But... the room was musty, the telephone didn't work and had to be changed, the air conditioner was third-rate, and the safe was broken. Although there was no coffee-maker (small breakfast room not far away#, there was a microwave, and very cold refrigerator, iron, hair dryer, WiFi. Shower stall only, no tub. All in all, it was adequate to our purposes #walking around the university's Lawn and nearby amenities) and a junket to nearby attractions; restaurants were close. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable enough.

Best Budget Hotel Ever
We were on a business trip and needed a clean budget minded place to stay on a week night. This place was as clean as any I have ever seen in this price range. Very quite. Staff were great to work with and very helpful. This one is a keeper! When we go back to Charlottesville, we will definitely stay here.
