Convenient Location

It is good place for what you pay. It is close to UVA and the main street Coner. The staffs are nice and room is really comfortable and relax.

You Get What You Pay For

If you are looking for a place to crash during a Weekend visit to UVA or Monticello, this is a great bargain, but upgrade if you plan on spending substantial time in the area. My girlfriend and I shared a queen sized bed that was tolerable but not especially comfortable (it felt like there may have been plastic wrap under the fitted sheet). The sink and bathtub were slightly backed up. Also, a faint urine smell lingered around the lobby. However, None of its faults we're so offensive as to negate the excellent location, right in the middle of Charlottsville. In short, an economical choice for people who are mainly interested in the area and don't require a lot of pampering.

Good value

I needed a hotel room in a hurry (skiing accident: kid with shattered elbow taken to C'ville hospital) and this place was a decent, inexpensive room. It's an older place and shows its wear and tear, but it was clean and had good coffee in the morning. It's right next to UVA's lacrosse fields, so if your stay was for UVA purposes, this location would be great. Check-in clerk was courteous.
