The staff was very friendly. The room was disgusting. There was a nasty, brown substance on the walls. The sheets were stained. Very dirty room. I have used sites to book cheap rooms that were cheaper and cleaner than this one. Hey, having no bugs in the room was a good thing!

Need remodel & cleaning

Dirty, old, smelled like a smoking parlor, had to air out everything after trip, had to go to office after going to a race to get towels & wash cloth's because maid had not been in our room to make the beds, clean or anything else. Water would not shut off at sink. That's enough I don't have time to list it all.

Bristol Race Stay

i chose this hotel because it was close to the track and cheap. Well, that's just what I got. The staff was very nice but the hotel itself is awful. No dead bolt lock on the door, sliding glass door did not have a lock, the bathtub was gross, the tv was from the 70's. Only one plug that worked, smoke detector missing, but, it was close to the track.

hotel not worth the money

The beds were extremely hard, but it sure beat staying in a tent at Bristol Motor Speedway without bathroom facilities or AC

Red Carpet Inn Bristol**Do Not Stay Here

We booked this hotel expecting it to be an older building and a little farther out of town than we usually stay, but the price matched our budget. When we arrived at 10 p.m., the hotel office was closed and we had to use an outside phone to call the clerk down to check us in. The lady was exceptionally nice, but had no record of a reservation. She also had only one room left as construction workers were staying to help renovations after a tornado in the area. We took the room, but were shocked at the condition it was in. The room used the old fashioned lock and key system, and the dead bolt was almost falling out of the door. I searched for bugs but found none in the room or beds, but spiders were prominent in the bathroom. The only outlet had a 6 plug adapter in it with the t.v. and frig taking up the space. The sheets on one bed had cigarette burns and urine stains on the other bed. The toilet and bath tub both leaked all night. The swimming pool was littered with empty beer cans and vomit in the bottom of the pool. In the morning, we killed two roaches before we could get packed up. Again, the lady staffing the desk was exceptionally nice when we called her down to check us out. We did receive our money back for the next three nights.

Spring Bristol Race

As one former review said it was better than a tent. The rooms were clean and the hotel personal were friendly. It's old and in need of serious remodeling but for the price and location to BMS It was fine. Would I stay again ? if the price remained low yes I would stay again.

red carpet inn bristol

It was so bad our guys could not stay, we had to rebook at the holiday inn down the road. luckly they had room. Seems that the homeless live here, the rooms were so dirty, garabage in the halls and room, furniture in the hall, dirty front room, homeless hanging around the front. rooms stunk so bad, they called and then left. we would like our money back please. I don't think a good company like orbitz should sell property like this, it makes you look bad and untrust worthy

Don't stay there!!!!!!!!!

This place was horrible!!! The light when you first enter the room didn't work. The lamp on the dresser didn't have a bulb in it. The lights over the beds were about to fall off the wall. Remote worked but missing pieces. TV was ancient. Light fixtures and anything brass were rusted and had NEVER been wiped clean. The walls and furniture was outdated and looked like they might have been part of Noah's Ark. The mattress and box springs didn't match. The curtains were scraps. The walls were paper thin. AND it gets worse.... don't stop reading yet. It advertised having a fridge and m/w in room.... NOT!!!! Oh and let's not forget it was in the low 30's/upper 20's AND THE BATHROOM WINDOWS WERE OPEN AND WOULD NOT CLOSE and there was no heat in the bathroom. There was a constant draft in the room. And they charged $200 for all that cleanliness, comfort, and luxuries. Whatever you do. DON'T stay there. If anything they should pay you to stay. Don't be deceived by the pictures and the reviews of recent remodeling. They probably remodeled ONE room just for the pictures to show advertising. Everthing in this room was nasty. Trim work, carpet, walls. nothing was decent. The water was hot though. That is the only good thing I can say about the place. SO in essence I got burnt in more ways than one!!!!! Not kidding about any of this. I read previous reviews and thought it couldn't really be THAT bad. I was wrong. It was and then some.
