A Comfortable Visit
My husband and I spent a comfortable two nights at the Holiday Inn University-Blacksburg. Although we didn't have the opportunity to try out the pool and exercise areas, the room was very comfortable and suited our needs with the refrigerator and microwave. The beds were extremely comfortable. The location was perfect with near-by restaurants, gas and food stores and a stone's throw from the highway. The Inn is located directly across from Virginia Tech and its Visitor's Center. The staff was very helpful in helping us navigate through Blacksburg.

Panera Bread has delicious breakfast and lunch treats, particularly the panini sandwiches, and the most mouth watering pecan sticky buns. Wish I had one now!

The Pallisades restaurant is excellent - a 20 minute drive but well worth it. great food in an old general store setting in the country

Great location for work and running
This hotel worked out really well since it was close to the office and perfect for getting in some pre- work runs around town. If balancing work and running while traveling is your priority, stay here. In addition to being located in an area prime for safe running, the hotel also has a workout room with enough equipment to get the job done.

Unbeknown to me, there is a refrigerator and microwave hidden behind the dresser- looking furniture in the room.

great hotel for visiting campus
hotel was great for visiting college. Staff was helpful, polite, kind and full of information. It is close to restaurants and stores too.

Had a great stay!
Didn't spend much time in the room but staff was very friendly and very helpful. Room was clean. Great location for our purposes.

Visit to VT with my daughter
Hotel is close to Virginia Tech and it was easy to get on Campus. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. Breakfast was expensive.

Great location, ,pleasant stay
The room and appointments were very nice. The room was beautiful and the hotel staff was very responsive to any issues that we had. The beds looked very inviting, but sorry to say they were not as comfortable as they looked, at least not for me. would gladly stay there again.

Enjoyed the hotel, recommended
I enjoyed the spacious room, comfortable beds, and the amenities in the room. The pool was larger and deeper than expected. The location was perfect---right at a Mall and several nice restaurants.
