overall was not bad however staff needed to be more acomadating no clean dry towels when needed and front desk was not symathetic to our needs

This was the only hotel left in Blacksburg for a football weekend, so we stayed there. We definitely got a smoking room, stinky pillows and bedding, very difficult to sleep at night due to the lighting and noise right outside of the door, and the carpets need cleaning. We couldn't use the pool since it was so dirty. Breakfast was below average. WiFi was very slow and sometimes didn't work at all.

They had conditioner! I hate when hotels only give you "Conditioning shampoo". Bed was comfortable too.

This is the second year I've stayed here. The room was a King Suite, very clean. The bath had been remodeled and was also very clean. The free breakfast was just enough although I'd prefer scrambled eggs to hard boiled! The pastries were a little dry but the sausage gravy was excellent! I will be back next August.

Hotel room smelled like a urinal. Less than a half roll of toilet paper in room the first night. Loud but effective a/c; no continuous fan option so you had to hear it cut on and off all night. This is a 70's style hotel with no inside access to rooms. Breakfast is free and isn't too bad. I paid $95/night including taxes but room was only worth $75/night including taxes.

In Blacksburg for a swim meet. For the price, this was an OK stay. The reservation was wrong, but quickly fixed. The rooms were clean. Internet was useable. If a quality fitness room is important, this is not the place to stay as the equipment was minimal and low end. Don't usually stay in hotels with outside entrances because of parking lot noise, which we noticed on one night.

This was perfect for the price. We have a son who plays baseball for VA TECH so we have made many trips to Blacksburg. This was by far the best bang for the buck. Very clean, nice room, comfortable bed. Nice bathroom. Good breakfast. Very nice and professional customer service.

Cars driving past were noisy and door's weather stripping at the bottom did not meet the floor so cold air leaked through. Otherwise it was clean.

I was in Blacksburg for work. There was some confusion over smoking vs non-smoking rooms that was difficult to resolve. Walls are very thin, and you can hear your neighbors like they were in the same room. Amenities were otherwise adequate, wireless worked fine etc.

Motel was average- exterior doors, loud heater- but warm, running toilet-but could be stopped by lifting the lid and adjusting the flap, towel hook missing, floors clean- but trash under the dresser, TV worked, no bed bugs, breakfast OK-coffee hot..... paid $145 a night for location- about 2 miles from Tech.
