VT Spring Break Visit
Our family booked 2 rooms during our visitation to Virginia Tech. The motel was not as close to campus as I thought from my booking online. The rooms were fine but had difficulty maintaining the H/AC controls for the room as the unit kept shutting down. The free breakfast passed my son's taste test which made a nice start to our busy day ahead.

CLASSY
NEVER AGAIN!!!
THE HOTEL STAFF THE PERSON AT THE DESK WAS NOT FRIENDLY AT ALL!! THE BEST THING ABOUT THIS HOTEL WAS THE SHUTTLE DRIVER HE WAS VERY NICE!! I DIDN'T KNOW SHUTTLE DIDN'T OPERATE ON WEEKEND AND I WAS IN TOWN FROM INDY TO WATCH MY SON RUN IN AN INVITATIONAL MEET AT VIRGINIA TECH AND HAD TO CATCH A CAB!! I booked this hotel as a package and I NEVER STAY AT ANYBODY'S 2 STAR HOTEL! IT WAS DUSTY AND NOT VERY CLEAN. IT SAID I WAS TO HAVE A MOUNTAIN VIEW, HA ARE U KIDDING?? I OPENED CURTAIN AND THERE WAS A VIEW OF THE COVERED CLOSED SWIMMING POOL AND THE PARKING LOT WHAT A JOKE!!! I AM VERY DISSATISFIED!! IF I HAD KNOWN MY SON WAS STAYING AT H.G.HOTEL THAT IS WHERE I WOULD HAVE STAYED!! I AM NOT HAPPY AT ALL AND I WILL NEVER USE THE PACKAGE DEAL AGAIN W THIS TRAVEL BUSINESS!!! A RIP OFF, BUT I DID HAVE A GREAT FLIGHT, BUT THAT IS BECAUSE I SELECTED THE AIRLINE!!

Travel with the new puppy
Our stay was fantastic . . . we were a little apprehensive because we have a 3 month old shitzu puppy and this was his first road trip and stay over at a hotel . . . the staff were great and the accomodations were great and the play yard for the pets was perfect . . .

Ohio grandma
Close to shops and dining
The room was average--nothing special. I like the close proximity to 460 which made it easier for us to get around the city. The continental breakfast was great; I appreciated not having to pay for the morning meal. Did miss having an indoor pool and workout room. The housekeeing unit could have taken a little more time in the room. We had a large web with spider on the inside of our door. The fitted sheets on the bed were to small and kept sliding off during the night.

The Comfort Inn is about a five minute drive to a wide variety of food within the same complex be it breakfast, lunch or dinner.
