Easter weekend getaway

Since the room was an special deal, we didn't get a suite. Nonetheless, the room was comfortable and clean. You have to pay for use of the room fridge and for wi-fi as well. There is parking about a block up the street for $1 a day on weekends. Metro stop is close.

Nice Business Hotel Stay

Convenience to the Metro railroad was key. Hotel was very modern, with all the basic amenities. Bed service could have been better; the nature of white bed spreads and pillows call for changes more often! Also soap, shampoo, lotion etc. was minimal. I stayed two nights, they never replaced used items after the first night. They also promoted Spa Services - Except Services were not on site. They partnered with an external spa service for in-room visits. Shuttle service to the major attractions - Federal Triangle/Smithsonian would have been nice.

Have breakfast at the local Cosi, I-Hop, 7/11 or Subways. The hotel breakfast is over priced.

nice hotel but pricey

If I had been paying myself I would not have stayed here, but it's very nice and the mattress is to die for.

two great restaurants are very close: Vapiano (a variety of really good choices of fresh pastas, salads, soups and paninis--also beer and wine) Rustico (pizza and an outrageously large selection of beers)

Funeral of family member in Arlington Cemetery

Some staff members answered questions in a rude and condensending manner, especially the day male concierge, and a day male front desk clerk( blonde hair). Perhaps this is due to having barriers with the English language. However, would like to commend the hotel night Security Manager that helped get the room safe fixed in a timely manner. He was kind, considerate, and professional along with understanding English.

If sightseeing get a hotel in the middle of Washington D.C. Do not rent a car. Take a taxi.

Perfectly located.

The Westin Arlington is located in such a wonderful location, with tons of food and shopping options away from the craziness of downtown DC. It's also extremely conveniently located 2 blocks away from the Ballston Metro Stop-so if you do need to get to DC, it's a hop, skip and a jump away.
