Confortable but !
Clean and Confortable place to stay . However They should post more clearly up front ,that you have to pay $22.50 per night to park. For 3 nights we paid $67.50 to park. We saw nothing about this ,and were not told untill check in. If someone is on a close budget this would be a bad time to find out.

Just OK
The place was nice and convenient to where we wanted to go. The room for four adults was a bit cramped and the bathroom was way too small. If you're planning to all get up at the same time and try to shower and go, forget it. Parking came as a surprise at $22.50/day and if I had known it was extra I probably would have booked elsewhere.

The hotel was a short walk from the subway and close to all the Washington sights. The room and service was great. Would highly recommend the Crystal City Shearaton to those wanting to visit the DC sights.

It was a short walk to the subway and a short ride to the DC attractions. DC subway is very user friendly and a good value for getting around the city.

Washington DC - Weekend Trip
We wanted to stay near the airport due to our flight schedules.... so the great things about this hotel - 5 minutes from Washington National Airport, free shuttle van to/from airport, across the street from the Crystal City Metro stop, the staff from front desk to shuttle driver are very friendly and customer service oriented. The minor challenges of the hotel is it is a bit older, but well maintained. Our room was on the 3rd floor front, so our windows began about half way up the wall - a bit like staying in a basement.

Excellent Service
Came to DC for a fun weekend and to do touristy things. Decided to stay in Crystal City and it was very convenient. This was my second time at this hotel and I decided to come back again. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful and all of the facilities were very clean and well presented. I'm definitely coming back to this hotel again.

"Great Location"
Great location. Clean, comfortable beds, pillows and very friendly staff. Safe, short walk to the metro. I would stay here again.

Be sure to walk to 23rd to find great eateries, and below in the crystal city food court, look for gem of a place for food and drink, Dunkin Donuts side of mall and down around to your right, Kings ??. Great food reasonably priced, try the pulled pork.

good and bad
The hotel is really nice great hospitality but apparently the walls were really thin because there was only to of us talking and laughing and we kept getting calls about people complaining that we were too loud. So basically they wanted us to whisper..they also had ear plugs on the night stand with a note that read for a a quite sleep but other than that the hotel is great

There is a underground shoppng center around the corner from the hotel. In walking distance. Some shops were closed/empty but still able to find what I needed

nice bed, great service
The staff was polite, kind and respectful. The bed was comfortable, hotel was clean and just 1 block from the metro and 2 mins from DCA. It's worth the price.

great location and clean hotel!
I was in DC for a weekend trip, and I don't think I have ever seen a better hotel at that price ($79 a night plus tax/fees). The hotel was only a block away from Crystal City Metro Station, which is only 4 to 6 stops away from Smithsonians and other DC sights. The staff was very attentive, and a free shuttle to Washington National Airport was convenient. Though there was no free breakfast, but there were muffins and Starbucks coffee available in the lounge in the morning. I would go back and stay there again.
