Radisson Hotel Reagan National Airport

I asked for a 5:30 am wake up call and they woke me up at 4:30 am. I then told them to push back the original 5:30 wake up call to 6:15 because now I would be awake for awhile due to the mistake. They still woke me up at 5:30 and I was dead tied the rest of the day and I had a very very very important meeting at at 10 am that I was not fully alert for. However, the place is great other then that mistake.

Pleasently surprised with the value and comfort of this hotel. 2 blocks from the Metro and 15 minutes from downtown D.C. I would not hesitate to stay here in the future.

Only two blocks from the Metro. Has a lovely pool and fitness center. Very quiet even tho it is near major thoroughfares.

A fair price for a great room close to the city. The complimentary shuttle service to and from the metro was very convenient. The upgraded suite is very comfortable and well decorated. The guest services and hotel amenity is on-par with the room rate.

Flew on Delta (not a good experience) We toured Washington DC and the tour picked us up and dropped us back to the front of our hotel. We booked our tour from the hotel. Great! Several Restaurants were all in walking distance from the hotel. Great pool area outside on the fourth floor; however, no jacuzzi! A small mall just a few blocks from the hotel and a larger mall about 5 minutes on the hotel shuttle. They dropped us off and picked us up when we were ready. The hotel had courteous drivers that were very helpful. No free continental breakfast however stores close by to pick up a few items for breakfast. We also were very close to the Metro stop.

So overall this hotel is average. There were somethings that could have been better. We arrived 30 min early to check-in, the front desk said there where no double bedrooms ready yet cause check-in wasnt until 3pm. The lobby was full of people waiting to check-in so i guess they were waiting for double bedrooms too. Im pretty sure they werent going to clean all those rooms in 30 min. In my opinion the rooms were ready but they just wont let you check in until 3pm. My biggest issue with this hotel was parking. I had no idea that you have to pay $20 to park your car at this hotel per night i might add. Good thing i only stayed one night. walking from the parking deck to the hotel was a bit scary looking, the stairs to the hotel needs work, the main elavator was nice but there are side elavators that look like something from a deserted hotel... i walked on one of the side elevators & got right back off.. avoid those.. the sleep number beds are fantastic.

Pros: Less expensive than other hotels in the area. Very clean rooms with all the amenities. Prompt (free) shuttle to National airport. Cons: Location was difficult to find (walking from the Metro). Front desk staff was slow.

Clean, friendly staff. Rooms had refrigerator, and microwave. Bottles of water. Only thing, staff was not knowledgeable about how to easily access public transportation as there were multiple entrances to the metro...some closer than others. Close to DC only a metro ride away from many of the main tourist attractions.

I selected the hotel because of its close proximity to the airport and the metro, and for the fact that it has a free shuttle, which proved to be extremely convenient. I was in the area for an interview located in the D.C. area and needed a location close to mass transit. The total trip time to Farragut West Metro station took approx 30 minutes. The hotel staff was extremely nice and very helpful. One associate let me borrow her umbrella for my trip to D.C. under the condition that I return it prior to the end of her shift. My only complaint is that the shuttle driver on duty at the time of my departure for my interview just brushed me off when I needed a ride to the metro. He was only interested in the large group, maybe a reunion or something, and simply told me to catch a cab. I caught the cab to the metro in order to reserve time but walked from the metro on the way back from D.C. The food from the restaurant was nothing to rave about. There are cheaper alternatives within walking distance of the hotel. Overall, the hotel was extremely convenient. I would definitely recommend it to anyone interested in visiting the D.C. area.

Housekeeping knocked on the door early in the morning and called out my name. When I answered, she said,"Oh sorry and left." That was very annoying especially when we have been up late sight seeing. Customer service at the front desk was not friendly, and told me the check in time is not until 3 pm. Therefore, they can hold my luggage but not check me in yet,and one of the front desk personnel do not greet customers. He will look at you and not acknowledge you. Expensive compared to others when breakfast is not included.
