Well, you might also check the holiday inn in the same block just to see -- probably about the same but maybe just a bit nicer? The price was right ($85) -- other nearby (much more upscale hotels) were more than $230, even with a government rate. The Roslynn Metro is 1/2 mile away -- easy walk if you don't have much to carry. Very clean.

I was supposed to pay only $75 a day. However, when i got there, manager required me to pay $120 a day instead of $75. Although I didn't check the AAA insurance plan when i reserved this hotel, the manager talked to me i need to pay $120 a day because the plan was valid. At that time, i didn't even have a car, and when i followed reservation order at that time, also i didn't find any kinds of applying for AAA plan. I totally spoiled one day because of this problem. Location was good, and a Singaporean who was working there was kind though. Also, i had a problem with using wireless internet. When i tried to connect the wireless internet, it didn't work at my room with my laptop and my friend's laptop too. Depending on room's location, it works or not. And they operated their shuttle for guests only in the morning. Check the schedule if you want to use this shuttle before you stay there. So, if anyone wants to stay this hotel, you should check these problem. Unless you doesn't check this problem, you probably regret your decision.

This is a good motel, close to major attractions. It is a bit noisy with Route 50 out front and under flight path for National airport at times. Staff very helpful. Breakfast choice was limited, dough-nuts and bagels.

Close to the Metro and some good restaurants just a short walk up the hill at Rosslyn. The area is nice and safe to walk around at night. Very easy to get around walking and/or taking public transport to various Washington attractions. While the room was a little dated it was excellent value for money with the free continental breakfast and free shuttle to the airport. Would recommend and stay again next time we are in Washington DC,

We were very pleased with the lodging. It was a clean room and came with a fridge as well. We re told that if neccessary, we could use the microwave in the office. The breakfast is minimal,; juice, bagel and donuts, but enough to get one out the door in a jiffy. Location is great. Close to downtown. If noise is an issue, then ask for a room facing away from street. It didn't bother us one bit when the windows were closed, but once we opened the bathroom window, all the street noise became loud. Not an issue for us. We slept like babies. SU

While the outside looked a bit dated and rough, the room itself exceeded our expectations. Breakfast was an assortment of excellent fresh donuts and bagels, with coffee and orange juice. There were a number of restaurants a few streets away. You could easily walk to the metro for a quick connection to DC, and Arlington Cemetery was also within walking distance. The staff was helpful with directions, and even printed out Google driving directions when we unexpectedly needed to attend an event in a nearby town.

I was happy with the accommodations. I was on business trip and hotel was walking distance to train. I slept well. Quiet yet next to highway. Free parking a plus.
