Airport hotel with free shuttle to Reagan National and rooftop pool
The Hyatt Regency Crystal City is right next to the Reagan National Airport and is convenient for travelers who want to be near the airport or travelers visiting Arlington. Shuttle service takes guests to Reagan National Airport or the Crystal City Metro stop. Arlington has numerous restaurants and shopping centers as well as tourist sites, such as Arlington National Cemetery and the Iwo Jima Memorial. The hotel is located close to beautiful jogging paths and bike paths that border the Potomac River.

Wonderful Hotel
Nice hotel but the entire lobby was wrapped in plastic and obviously about to undergo renovation. I heard someone mention the elevators would be shutting down and the hotel closing. I don't know why. It was clean, the rooms were great, the staff very attentive and the overall appearance was great. Overall a great stay - and I'm particular.

Nice place to stay
I had a conference to go to and my husband came along for a mini-vacation. We went into the capitol area every day. The room was nice. The shower was a little difficult to shave my legs in but no biggie there. The only downside to this hotel is the location. You have to walk eight blocks to the metro or wait to ride the shuttle. Although, there are underground passages but you have to discover those. :) The staff was very helpful and polite.

Crystal Drive has restaurants available to eat in. Willing to ride the metro? Hop on and go to Pentagon City. There you will find a mall, a food court, and go out to the street and you will find restaurants (at normal prices).

Quick weekend getaway
The staff was very friendly. The airport shuttle takes 5 minutes to and from DCA. The shuttle to the Cyrstal City Metro Station is very convenient. You can get to anywhere in DC using the Metro. Perfect location for a quick weekend trip.

Avoid the breakfast buffet. $16.50 for a small buffet that doesn't even have pancakes or french toast. Seriously, what buffet doesn't have pancakes or french toast??

Excellent Famliy Get away !
I was in DC for a family get together and there was plenty of space and fun things to do while there. Great food in walking distance.From the moment I walked in door everyone was so helpful and attentive to every guest, the staff was extremly friendly and polite. It was a wonderfully relaxing get away with my family. I would recomend this hotel to everyone. Can wait to go back and vist again.

great location
This was a great location to be out of the busy busy downtown, but close to the metro station to get anywhere you want, Crystal City shops close by, great restaurants and bars close, hotel breakfast buffet was great and the service was excellent. I was a bit concerned when I read some of the previous reviews - must have been some really picky people-bar drink prices a bit stiff, $12 for pino griggio and it wasn't a $12 glass of wine, but that is my only complaint!

great place the concigier was helpful
A very enjoyable stay short taxi ride to DC. The room was comfortable and I really liked the shower.

Nothing Surprising
Typically what you would expect. Large airport hotel. Bar and restaurant service was slow, food was average.Highlight was the fitness center. Equipment was new, clean and the facility was well-appointed.
