Holiday Inn NATIONAL AIRPORT/CRYSTAL CITY

I had to pick up my sister from the Reagan Int airport Sunday morning so I thought I'd make a weekend of it to take advantage of the great location. Hotel is easy to find and excellent location less that 5 minutes driving to the airport. It's about a 10 minute walk to Crystal City metro station. Older hotel but kept clean. Front desk staff was nice and knowledgeable. Nice bar area. Restauraunt was ok. There was a mix up with the order where I asked for an omelet with turkey bacon/ no pork. They brought the omelet filled with pork bacon. The manger resolved the issue. The only reason why I would recommend this hotel is because parking is $16 parking when the other hotels charge $25.

Arrogant front desk staff; no TV remote in the room; had to ask for blankets - not a very nice brand representative for Holiday Inn, where we stay all the time. Location, price & good food are the only pluses. I'll stay somewehre else next time.

The hotel was very convenient to the airport. The room was clean and the hotel staff was very polite. I didn't like that you had to pay to park you car. Other than that perfect.

I am a female business traveler and would defintiely stay at this Holiday Inn again. The hotel is convenient to the airport and downtown and offers free airport shuttle service. The front desk service was exemplary - they truly understand what quality service is all about and assisted me with identifying some reliable local restaurants and other shops. The rooms offered ample desk/work space, free internet and had in-room coffe. More important, the rooms were clean and comfortable - and the elevators to the rooms operate on a room key card for additional safety. A reasonable price for comfort, safety and an accommodating staff - I was very happy and would recommend this hotel to other business travelers.

The hotel was good, the front counter staff were not very courteous. The biggest complaint I have were the hidden fees that you do not when booking this hotel. They charge a $30.00 booking and tax fee at check in and an additional $16.00 for overnight parking in an unsecure parking structure. The customer should be made aware of these additional fees before booking.

Excellent location to airport - great restaurants in the area - easy to get to other places from there. No in-room movies. Staff driving the airport shuttle were very nice an accommodating. Overall, good for those who are not high maintenance.

This hotel made my trip in to D.C. very slick, easy, and affordable. I had tight travel times during my 24 hours in the East, and this hotel is adjacent to an off site car rental company, so when I was returning my vehicle at 11pm, I was able to save money on my vehicle rental and I didn't have to worry about returning it the next day when I was trying to catch a flight. The hotel staff was very friendly, the hotel was VERY clean, and I appreciate the easy access to the business center to print off my boarding pass. I needed to catch a shuttle at 4:30am, back to the airport, and even though the hotel airport didn't start their shuttle until 5am, It was a brief walk to the rental car shuttle, and then it was >5 minutes from the airport. Easy and easy.

Cvs is right down the street. The Greek restaurant down the street is family owned and great! The metro is within walking distance. The bar downstairs is ok. The staff is amazing. The hotel shuttle was awful and not dependable.

I was not given a choise of smoking or non smoking. I have an allergy to smoke and had to stay in a smoking room was not happy. The staff was unwillling to make arrangements otherwise and were unfriendly once they discovered I had booked through online service. The carpet in the hallway was coming up and was a tripping hazard. I will not stay at this hotel again.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel and it was very close to several restaurants and shops. The metro station was not very far away, so I was able to travel into the DC area very easily. The hotel staff was polite and professional.
