Fantastic!

Poor maid service
I had to call more than once to have the room recleaned. I stayed there for two weeks. No dusting, smelled like smoke. The room was vaccumn every third day. A few times we returned to the room at 4 pm and the room was still not cleaned. Went thuough three maids. They all spoke no english.

A very large mall and food court was only a 10 min walk in Penagan City.

metro was within walking distance but shuttle would also take you there every half hour.

Great Access to DC
Easy access to the Metro and near to Alexandria.The hotel was clean and ideal for a family break. Also near to Arlington,which is worth the visit.

Very clean and convenient to the sites
We were in a very nice, clean room and had a wonderful, complimentary breakfast in the morning. The fitness room was well furnished and the managers reception at night was a great snack after a day of touring but could have had a few more food choices. The hotel was ten minutes from two shopping centers, restaurants and subway and if needed, there was always a complimentary shuttle service. When traveling on our next vacation, I will start my hotel search with Embassy Suites.

Check out all of your options at the beginning of your stay or you will feel cheated on your last day and you didn't know what was down the street.

Great Vacation
The hotel staff was cheerful and friendly. We were treated as family. The location was ideal for our trips into the Mall and Museums. Only wish it was quieter. The rooms open to the atrium where the dining room is located and I was awakened to the breakfast buffet being prepared, every morning we were there.

Embassy Suites - Crystal City - National
This is a great hotel. I really like the fact that you can have the breakfast buffet or have an omelet, included in the price of room. The room was great for the us and our two kids, one a high school senior, the other a college sophomore student. The room was a suite so we had plenty of room for the four of us. Very nice hotel. Free airport and metro shuttle service. I WILL stay at an Embassy Suites again!

Crystal City Metro is a short walk from hotel, if you don't want to take the free shuttle to Pentagon City station. Walk through the Crystal City Mall to get to the Metro plus there are several restaurants in the mall to take advantage of.
