Days Inn Arlington Pentagon

the staff at the days inn made all the difference,competent,very helpful without being overbearing[no looking for tips]the weather was very cold but the heating worked well and there was plenty of hot water.

The location was great. The 'hotel' is actually a motel because access to all rooms is from outside. The room was dirty(mold in the bathroom, carpet sticky, desk felt oily) and the room was not well maintained. It was uncomfortable and cabinets and furniture were literally falling apart. The bed was the worst I have ever slept on. I would not recommend this particular Days Inn to anybody. We could have stayed in DC proper for about $30 more and the room would have been more secure and cleaner. My wife and I do quite a bit of traveling and this was the worst we have stayed in.

The picture looked like an upscale motel. But, it was a regular cheap motel with a hefty price in an expensive area. I was disappointed. If it were not for the picture, I would have paid more for better hotel.

It was not as good as seen in the photo.

The staff was very friendly and informative, as we were there for a funeral at Arlington! Gave great directions, breakfast was nice, and rooms were very clean and tidy. Only one thing that was negative was we had a non-smoking room and with smokers and drinkers outside our room until 12 midnight, the smoke came right thru the AC vent and we had to ask them to move, as it woke us up! If that had not happened, it would have been perfect!

The hotel is quiet. But the room is not so nice. I found some kinds of bugs in the bed on the first night, it's so bad. I asked to change rooms next morning, and was arranged to another room, that room is ok. The location is ok, not too far away from the Metro. The room is big, but not the cosy one. You can surf internet at room. the speed is ok.

Even though it is an older facility, seemed well maintained. Comfortable bed and friendly check-in staff. Plenty of choices for restaurants within easy walking distance. Great free wireless Internet connection.

The hotel common areas are really dirty. Rooms are barely clean. Mold in the shower and stains on the chairs. People at reception are not friendly

stayed one night, noisy air conditioning, burned out light, fan in bathroom didn't work. The outside passege ways are dirty

Most important needs met. Clean, comfortable, and quiet. Old and not in terribly good shape. Looked like it was re-done, but really cheaply. Bathroom LOOKED bad, but no actual problems to report.
