Arlington hotel attracts business and leisure travelers
The Courtyard by Marriott Arlington Crystal City/Reagan National Airport is conveniently located near the airport and Old Town's historic district. Convenient shuttle service takes guests to the Crystal City Metro stop. The on-site Grille offers breakfast daily and dinner or drinks Monday through Friday. A number of restaurants for families and business travelers are in the immediate area. There's a 24-hour fitness room, an indoor pool and a whirlpool. Kids love the Nickelodeon Your Stay program, with goodies and perks just for kids and families.

Great Family Hotel
This hotel was great, we stayed for two nights as part of a weekend trip to DC. It was minutes from the Lincoln Memorial and very easy to get to. Only downsides: you have to read the fine print to figure out that parking is not included in the room price and is fairly pricey and no continental breakfast. Food was overpriced and they had some issues figuring out my reservation but overall it was a nice stay.

Bring plenty of coins with you. Metered parking is cheaper than paying to park in a garage but you need plenty of quarters since you only get about 7 minutes per quarter.

great for my last minute booking
Had a great experience although I was not at the hotel very much. The shuttle service to the metro was excellent and made our trip into DC very painless. The exercise room was way too hot and I had to cut my workout short because of it. Also, I wished that breakfast was included, even a dry bagel would do. No other complaints. Good hotel!

Average family stay
No continential breakfast, i thought the food was pricey, especially for kids. There was no tv guide to look at. I had to guess what was on t.v. Overall i would stay there again.

Wonderful DC stay!
We stayed for 2 nights in a King/non-smoking for UNDER $200. Be mindful that parking is $22/night, but there is a free shuttle to the metro which can take you right to tourist spots and nightlife. The pool and gym are clean and the staff is super nice. When the concierge was unsure about something, instead of saying I don't know...she found out from someone else. Great customer service on phone and face to face. Big HD television in the room and most comfortable bed EVER.

Take metro when you can...do not drive. People in metro are friendly and it is clean. Nightlife in the NW side is fun and safe.

Very nice room, clean, comfortable, good breakfast
We had a good time however, traffic was the greatest hurdle. Fyi, parking is an extra $18.00 a night. Wasn't prepared for that but don't plan to park anywhere else.

Marriott's remain reliable for business travel
I always enjoy staying at Marriott's on business travel because you can bank on being treated well and know that the room will be clean and predictable. It seems that they do a good job training their staff as I always coming away thinking how cheerful and helpful the staff has been. The room rates are standard for the DC area, but acceptable for business travel since it's worth paying the going rate than risk having an unpleasant surprise in a place where you saved a couple of dollars. My only problem was that the air conditioner in the room rattled which I reported the next day. Since we are just going into Spring, it probably hasn't had much use for a while.

I always stay in Crystal City because of its convenience. There's also a block of neighborhood restaurants about 3/4 miles from the hotel that are worth visiting. It's also a very safe area to walk around.

Quick College Visits
Good location for the price
With free shuttle service to the metro at Crystal City, and then to the airport, it was just fine for us since we spent little time at the hotel except to sleep. We had stayed next door at the Hyatt on previous visits and if you're planning on using a lot of hotel facilities-pool, restaurants, fitness, then their cost is well worth it. For our trip this time, the Marriott was much cheaper and we got just what we needed- clean room, good basic service, quick breakfast, wi-fi.
