Budget-friendly Arlington hotel with on-site pizza restaurant and bar
The budget-friendly Best Western Rosslyn/Iwo Jima is just outside of D.C., in Arlington, Va., a few blocks from the Rosslyn Metro station. The hotel is just over the Key Bridge from Georgetown. Travelers appreciate the proximity to Regan National Airport. Rooms have mini refrigerators and microwaves. The on-site restaurant, Ledo's Pizza, has been serving Italian food since the 1950s. Nearby D.C. attractions include Arlington National Cemetery and the Iwo Jima Memorial.

When you don't want to put all your money in a room
We were in town for a graduation. The BW Iwo Jima is clean, comfortable, and the staff is pretty good. The hotel itself is getting a little tired. The location is very good: two blocks to the Rosslyn Metro, you can rent bikes around the corner, walk across the bridge to Georgetown, the Iwo Jima park is pleasant, has a great view of the Lincoln, Washington monuments and the Capital in the distance. You can even stroll into Arlington National Cemetery which is both awing and serene. The Iwo Jima is NOT where you spend your honeymoon but if the idea is to be out in DC it suits nicely.

nice location for the price
we picked this motel because it was inexpensive and was a short walk to the metro. we visited the national mall and did not want to drive in and find/pay for parking, so this motel worked out perfectly. the parking was free and the metro was easy and convenient to use. our kids loved it too. the room was clean. the tub did have a slow drain, which was kind of gross. but overall we were pleased with the amenities, the pool, the fitness room, and the service. we would definitely book here in the future.

An Okay Stay
Ok for the price and place. Irritated that the first day they had people on the roof beating away. Then to stay connected to wifi you must enter the passcode several times. Other than small things it was a nice hotel for the price and location

exactly as expected
Clean quiet worked out great. Close to metro. Parking in garage. Ledos take out was good. No map of DC sites though. We were pleased.

long past its prime
old faclity in serious need of rehabilitation. sink and shower did not drain..still had waste water 20 minutes after use. heating unit excessively noisy resulting in lack of sleep. food in restaurant barely edible. sleeping in the car would have been a better alternative.

Great location
We had a great. stay at this location. The room was great. The staff was outstanding. Perfect place for a last minute get away. Paul at the front desk exceptional on his knowledge of the area and what to see. The restaurant was a great value and very friendly staff.

No Breakfeast, but good place.
This Hotel was great for me because I was looking for a place close to DC that would allow me to take my parents there by metro. This way this hotel met my expectations. However, if you are looking for a hotel with a good breakfeast this is not the right one for you since they offer only oranges, apples, coffee and tea in the mornings. There is a Ledo's Pizza in the hotel where you can have not only breakfeast, but also lunch and dinner (but you have to pay, of course). But if you don't mind having to pay for breakfeast, then this is a clean, quiet and safe place where you can sleep and leave your stuff.
