BEST WESTERN Pentagon Hotel - Reagan Airport

Hotel not close to airport,shopping or publis transportation. Shuttle service offered, but always late. Room adequate for price, did not care for outside entrance, no elevator. You get what you pay for. It was a bargain.

I thought we were going to be at a three star hotel but had to go to comfort in to eat and where was the conceirge the pool hours from 12;00 til 8;00 for the money we had spent was not acceptable with the amount of services or lack there of the shuttle to the metro was a big plus

The location is easy to find. The front desk was ok. The room smelled terrible,peeling paint and wallpaper, dirty tub. Work out room - aweful, not clean and needs updating. My biggest disappointment was the breakfast. The attendant on the breakfast sat and text on her phone. When people came in she stood up to collect the ticket for the breakfast with no personality or greeting. didn't pick her head up from her phone until someone came in to collect their ticket. I took 2 small muffins with me. she jumped up and was exremely rude and said (in bad english and loudly) No take to room. (several times). this hotel is in very bad shape. 2 muffins aren't going to break them, the nasty hotel will.

Hotel was loud and very loud drilling/banging started at 8am on a saturday. We came in from the West Coast, so that was like 5am to us. There was no warning of the construction. The staff acted completely crazy about their lame continental breakfast tickets. They were harrassing everyone for tickets and if you left yours in your room they were extremely rude. The breakfast was totally lame anyway.

I expected much more from a name such as Best Western. I can easily say I have slept in motels with better conditions. Even though it is a non- smoking hotel, the rooms are smelly and have no fridge, no microwave, no coffee machine, even no remote control for the TV! Sheets looked stained and at the end of the day when we came back for our second night, we realized they had just folded our dirty towels and put them back in stead of replacing them with clean ones! Beds are small - if you have a queen size, expect a full! Breakfast is not even worth mentioning, just terrible!!!

I was expecting something nicer for three stars. The ac did not cool room, even though I set it on 67. The wallpaper was peeling off, the paint was buckled on the ceiling in the bathroom. The shuttle ran only every hour versus 30 min like other hotels and the ac was broken on the shuttle (it was 80 degrees while there). There was no place within walking distance to eat and the shuttle stopped at 10 pm which made it harder to do things later having to use the metro and no shuttle. I also think handing out coupons was ridiculous for the breakfast. No one outside the hotel would have shown up to eat it. All they had to do was ask for a key. I was in room 112 and next time in D.C. Will probably choose another hotel. I wanted to visit the monuments at night, but because the shuttle services stopped at 10, we couldn't and the nearest metro was too far of a walk.

The website showed me that my room had a microwave, but nothing..and it also was offering hot breakfast, but there was no soup... And what made us get worse was not to be soundproofed. So I could hear all sound from next room, which was taking a shower and making loud noise of somebody. Ultimately, our family could not sleep all night because of that loud noise.

It's one of the worst hotel experiences I had in my life, the staff is very unproffissinal , very rude, and very unhelpful

Two day stay. Tub would not drain. Asked for maintenance to fix. No one showed. Breakfast was terrible. Air conditioning/heat was extremely loud. Not only could I hear mine but several other rooms was keeping me awake. Walls ere paper thin. I heard couple next door doing the wild thing.

I had read reviews that this hotel was dated, but dated is not what I experienced. Bugs, Bathroom wall appeared that someone had puked and it had been there for a hundred years. Mold on the mirror edges, and around the top of the bathroom ceiling. Thank God we were only in the room for a few hours each night. Will visit DC again, but will never stay here.
