BEST WESTERN Pentagon Hotel - Reagan Airport

Easy to get to if you have a car, and the best value for the money. Room was clean and spacious. Plenty of parking. And right next to the expressway.

This hotel is a great base of operations for a business or pleasure trip to Washington, DC. The Best Western is a two-story strip motel with drive-to-your-room free parking. The rooms are large and adequate. A free van operating every hour during midday and every half hour during the morning and evening goes from the motels to the Pentagon City Metro Station and then onto Reagan National Airport. From the Pentagon City Station, one can reach virtually any location in Washington by taking a $2-or-less subway ride and then a taxi if necessary. Total travel times are almost always less than 1 hr. Taking a taxi directly from the hotel is also possible although typically much more expensive. I-395 is a block away, and virtually anything that a business or pleasure traveler could need or want is a short drive from the hotel. Wireless internet access, although free, is iffy. Reliability varies from room to room. Two public computers are provided in the small business center. The free breakfast consists of juice, coffee, toast, dry cereal and milk, hardboiled eggs, fruit, and a waffle machine that guests fight over, so the waffles must be pretty good. This hotel is perfect for anyone who wants a convenient location with basic amenities for a great price. The Best Western is definitely a legacy hotel. It may not be long before someone will tear it down to put up a high-rise commercial building of some sort. The land is just too valuable for this low-density use to continue much longer although I hope I am wrong about that.

The bed was very comfortable. We especially appreciated the breakfast hostess who was very helpful.

over all i would give hotel an 8 out of 10. only thing lacking was on site amneties such aslounge/ resturat, and maybe pool and fitness area. room steup was great.

The hotel room was clean and the service was quite good. I did appreciate the shuttle service a great deal, given that I was not driving in DC and there was not a metro stations close to the hotel. The staff were courteous and friendly, especially the concierge and drivers. My only complaint was that the food in the vending machine was stale (melted chocolate bar.)

Overall it was a good stay. Staff and workers were great and room was very clean.I wish they had had a a restuant. but all else was good.

We stayed in this hotel for a week. The staff was friendly the entire time greeting us each time they saw us. The shuttle bus to the Metro stop was consistently on time.

I needed a last-minute -- and preferably inexpensive -- room near National Airport for the night, and the Best Western Pentagon filled the bill. Downsides: Nothing to eat within walking distance. Upside: My room had the Declaration of Independence and a portrait of George Washington on the wall.

We stayed at Best Western Pentagon during our weekend trip in Washington. The location was fantastic, the rooms were very clean and roomy, free parking and breakfast were included. The breakfast was an avarage American one, could have been better for my taste, but was ok anyhow for the price. the hotel staff was very professionel. I can fully recommend the hotel for a weekend trip or a business trip with or without a family.
