BEST WESTERN Pentagon Hotel - Reagan Airport

My husband and I stayed here for an anniversary trip. Instead of staying in the District, we saved a good deal of money by staying here. Breakfast was good, nothing too special, but filling and there was always coffee. The gym had a treadmill and weights, perfect for a quick workout. The staff was friendly and the shuttle was always there, albeit sometimes a bit late. We were very happy with our stay and would return.

I have no idea who give this Hotel 3 stars. In my opinion not even 1. The room have a bad cigarette smell, also the air condition unit was so loud is like you was inside a jet engine turbine. we called and change hotel. We have to stay that night, because the Hotel wants to charge us for that night even the we was not satisfy with the hotel or the service. all night we heard pets noise between the walls and ceiling keeps awake all night.(we was on the 2nd floor nobody on top of us)

The complimentary Shuttle to the Metro eliminated need for a car or Taxi

super close to washington dc. It is like 13 min away from teh cherry blossm festival and teh room is big enough for teh value I pay.

This is a converted motel. The bathrooms are circa 1960. It was nice having a shuttle but it only ran every 1/2 hour up until 7pm and then every hour. I would only rate it a good 2 star hotel, not three stars.

The free shuttle service to and from the Metro system took to much time away from our vacation. 5 out of 8 times we used it, we had to wait for another one to arrive which took approximately another 20 to 25 minutes of waiting.

We totally loved the shuttle. Never waited long. Thought that was amazing since it was the peak cherry blossom weekend. The staff super nice. The breakfast very good. The choices of scrambled eggs or hard boiled eggs, pancakes toast or biscuits, fruit, yogurt, cereal and more to choose from. Bed was good. My only complaint was the lounge wasn't what I call a lounge. But that is not that important, since they have a shuttle to pentagon city and a great place there to hit happy hour and have a drink and a bite to eat. I would go back.

The hotel is conveniently positioned close to DCA airport, and has a useful shuttle service to the airport and Pentagon City metro station. And the breakfast room and front desk staff were pleasant and helpful. But the room itself had several problems, including 3 non-working lights, 2 of the only 3 electrical outlets wouldn't hold a charger cable when plugged in, the bath tub had a dripping faucet, and the hot water faucet in the basin was not working. Overall, an old and crumbling property, so the room charge of $180 a day was completely unreasonable.

I read the reviews on this motel and approached it with some trepidation. There were some bad reviews about noise, the responsiveness of staff and its location away from the Metro line. Although I could hear the couple next door too clearly, none of the other reviews were as accurate. I liked the location, the staff was friendly, the free breakfast was first rate, and the shuttle to the airport and the Metro ran on a regular basis. I am glad that I did not trust the reviews. This motel was a bargain and it made my four-day stay in D.C. very affordable.

BEST WESTERN Pentagon Hotel - Reagan Airport is an excellant place to stay in the DC area. The staff was very helpful with directions and answered any questions we had in a timley manner. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The shuttle from the hotel runs on the half hour and took us to the Metro which is the way to travel in Washington DC area. we would stay there again.
