It was nice
When we first pulled up we thought we were in the hood but its not. It was very clean and the breakfast was really good. Very nice hotel for what we paid.

I didn't like the location of the hotel, but staff were very very friendly, specially the daytime ones. Gr8 breakfast. Clean rooms.. good 4 the price!

Fine hotel for price
While this hotel may have "suites", we didn't get one, which was disappointing. We got a room with two queen size beds. Also, this hotel is about a half an hour from Old Town Alexandria, despite only being 8-9 miles away (traffic). Overall, the hotel was inexpensive and relatively clean. The free breakfast in the morning is par for the course for these types of hotels. If you are looking for a bed with no frills and don't mind driving to attractions, this is a fine place to stay.

okay hotel for the price
not a bad hotel for the price. The front desk staff were friendly enough, the room was clean although a little worn. The noise from the courtyard was noticeable but not a huge problem. Breakfast was fairly good, nothing too fancy but adequate. There's a Walmart a few miles down the road.

Great getaway
Location was great, just a few miles from the Metro into Washington. Also, the hotel was only down the street from Mount Vernon. I think we will use this hotel again next year.

Excellent hotel off the main road!
The hotel is located a few yards away from the main road, and a gas station is beside it. The hotel driveway is shared with the gas station entrance, so if you don't drive slowly, you'll miss the entrance. For the price of the hotel, this is excellent. Nice clean sheets, quiet, and the hotel center is beautiful at night. The hotel is designed into a square, and the center has a mini-garden with a fountain. The area is lit up nicely in the evening and a fantastic place to take pictures. The A/C cooled quick and HBO was free. In the morning, the complimentary breakfast is superb! You have the ability to make your own pancakes, waffles, and sausage/egg on a biscuit! Fantastic service and an excellent place to stay if your visiting Washington's Mount Vernon.

There are lots of chain restaurants located 4-6 stop lights away. Starbucks, Friday's, and Wal-mart are all located in less than 5 minutes away.
