luxurious & great location

Elegant and warm accomodation
The Morrison House is centrally located in heart of Olde Town. Easy walk to dozens of superb places to eat, coffe shops, antique shops, and pubs. The afternoon wine Happy Hour was a pleasant surprise.

Very Nice but.................
We were traveling to Alexandria for a class reunion[...] The hotel and staff are first rate, but, and this is a nice but, the rooms are rather small for my taste, and the parking situation although I may not be used to it, is rather pricey. $24.95 a day to valet your car, plus tip every time you have to request that they bring your car around for you, so it's more like 35 dollars a day if you go anywhere. Plus the strangest thing we thought was the lack of an ice machine, if you want ice, the staff must get it for you. Which instead of free ice, you now are paying $3 to $ dollars for a bucket of ice, when a liquor store is only $1.50 for a giant bag of ice. Just a few little quarks here and there, but overall, very nice place to stay, clean and comfy.

Charming and comfortable
Great hotel with amazing staff! The room was quaint and comfortable and the hotel was conveniently located in the middle of Old Town. Only 15 minutes walk from the metro station, 10 minute drive from the airport, and 20 minutes from DC, this was the perfect spot to start and end our days. Only downside to this place was that our room was on the bottom floor, so it was a little noisy at times.

Great Vacation
We had a great stay with the Morrison House. Staff was friendly and very accommodating, they exceeded our expectations with service. The location is amazing, close to food, waterfront, shopping and the Metro.

Long walk from hotel
Use the Metro, there is a free trolley that will take you up and down King Street, which will get you to the Metro station. The Metro will take you to DC and you can stop close to all the monuments. This will save time and money from parking. Be prepared to walk, every monument requires some walking.

i cannot say enough good things----
perfectly located in old town alexandria----was able to walk everywhere--it was very beautiful and romantic.this is probably the first time i can honestly confess there was not one single thing that i could complain about.everything was perfect.also it is located in a very safe environment.

Charming small Hotel with impecable serv
Overall lovely experience! The staff is welcoming kind and helpful. Especially a wonderful young man, [...]. We hsd a great distance to travel for a Memorial Service and he gave us his personal GPS to use. We are not at all familiar with the DC area so he helped with what could have been a frustating and stressfull commute to Manassas. Thank you [...]!Well trained staff!!

Amazing hospitality
The attention and desire to please could not have been more evident. We were there for our 27th year anniversary and everything was absolutely perfect. They went above and beyond to make our night special and we appreciate their attentiveness.

Great location
The property was georgous. The rate was fine for the accomodations. Unfortunately, the ecomony makes it hard for us to enjoy this life style too often. The staff was so nice and friendly and the room was nice and clean.
