Very disappointed!
The room was pretty standard when we went in at first, but after coming back from a wonderful evening in Alexandria our experience was terrible. The heater/AC could not be shut off consiquently the noise kept us awake most of the night and the bed was very uncomfortable because it sagged in the middle and just had caracteristics of being warn out.

Short walk from hotel
The Euro Bistro & Diner on Richmond Road almost next to the Holiday Inn was fantastic. An array of European foods to pick from, extremely nice staff and neat decor and reasonable prices. I would advise when in Alexandria stop by there and enjoy, I know we will are next trip.

The hotel was very nice. The rooms were very clean and the free breakfast was perfect. It was very close to the Metro (a block and a half) which was great. They did offer a shuttle service but we ended up just parking our car there, which was free on the weekends.

More than I expected!
From checkin to checkout everything ws exceptiomal. The room was spacious and very nicely decoated. Plenty of free parking. Breakfast was very good and the staff friendly. Will definately stay here again!

Nice for the price
Exceptionally clean and great customer service. The free breakfast was okay but not great as far as quality and quantity of selection. I stayed eight nights and would recommend the place. Make sure you have a car as the place is located away from the center of everything unless you are open to using a combo of buses and metro to get to places in Virginia and DC

Ticked Off In The AM
It Was Ok
This hotel is in a great location! Easy to navigate around to the surrounding locations (Georgetown, Old Town Alexandria, DC). Check-in was easy and the frontdesk personnel was very accommodating. Everything was good until the morning of check-out. Housekeeping knocked on the door at 9:26AM and questioned me about my departure time. I verified with her that check-out was at noon and she did confirm the noon time. I think it is VERY RUDE for someone to knock on the door and ask me what time I'm leaving! I PAID for that hotel room and I have EVERY RIGHT to stay there and NOT BE QUESTIONED 2 1/2 hours early about my departure!!! I WON'T STAY THERE AGAIN!
