Great Place
The Hilton was excellant. Very clean, friendly staff and great location. Metro is right beside the hotel. Rooms were quiet, which is great considering all the traffic.

Fine service, great location
This hotel was spot-on in all departments from a friendly doorman who helped with my bag to the best dinner over my two day stay. The entire staff was at their best and very professional. I would definitely book another stay at this Hilton Hotel in Alexandria Old Town.

Researcher road warrior
Perfect for the purpose
I was in Alexandria to run a research study. My days were long -- starting at 8:00 am and ending at 9:30 pm. I wanted a hotel that would be safe and comfortable and where I could get fed late in the evening. The staff was pleasant and efficient. The bartender was attentive and accommodating on my special order for dinner, the waitress at breakfast brought me a pot of perfectly brewed breakfast tea (very rare), and room service was much faster than promised. By the way, all the food I had in the hotel was very, very good. Oh, and my room was super comfortable and well decorated. My only (very minor) complaint is that the bed was too hard for me. I do understand that some folks might like a firm mattress, though.

In an excellent position for both
In an excellent position for both Old Alexandria and for getting into central DC , excellent service and facilies, with the exception of the swimming pool which is a joke other than for children. We enjoyed our stay and would go back in spite of the price, which we found on the high side.

clean, convenient, comfortable
my third stay at this Hilton and its always easy. the staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. Concierge and desk staff made getting to and from airport easy. The dining was perfect. I recommend the Waldorf salad and grilled asparagus. Light but filling. Room was quiet and bed was blissful. I'll be back

if you have the time, take a walk down King Street. It has a lovely ambience and small shops.

Great location- close to restaurants, trolley, metro station, etc. Well cared for. Great staff. Quiet locale. Doesn't get any better than this!

Comfortable & Convenient Hotel
Hotel accommodations were very nice, comfortable sleeping, bigger bathroom. All staff were helpful and very pleasant. Very good food. Convenient to DC, being a 1/2 block from the Metro station and two stops from National Airport. Charming King Street shopping with many excellent restaurants. Have stayed here before and will do so again.

All the sights of DC are within a short (15 to 20 minute) Metro ride. The Metro won't break any family's budget and is very clean and safe.
